#1 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:11:19 PM Hope everyone has had a good season. Havent been around much, but wanted to drop some thoughts.
I dont know who got it worse, Kansas or Detroit. Kansas doesnt want to see a team as talented as Detroit first round. Detroit shouldnt have to see a team as talented as Kansas first round.
Ohio State is going to steamroll Loy Md, but things get hairy from there. I figure they see West Va and thats a tough matchup for them.
Texas is a very good #11, but FSU should handle that bracket. Talk about ruining running under the radar, though. FSU sort of putting itself back on the map at the wrong time. Dont know if we are going to see value in betting on them.
The Nashville games are the least interesting set you can ask for. Columbus comes in a close second. Belmont should give GT all they can handle.
Creighton/Bama should be a great game.
Murray State has a lower seed than they deserve, but it shouldnt matter. They should handle Col State. If they play Marquette get your popcorn out.
Think UVA can slow down Florida enough - and if the threes arent falling, its over quick. Mizzou is too good for either of them, though. Mizzou/Marquette would be a hell of a game too.
Really looking forward to seeing some lines....

#2 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:28:42 PM I think Detroit could be one of the most talented 15's ever. I'm pretty sure KU is good enough to keep this game from being scary-close, but UD shouldn't be a pushover. |

#3 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:32:26 PM Feel sick about the Detroit seeding... NO WAY they should have been a 15. Horizon Winner always gets 12/13 seed. Committee gives a big F-YOU to the McCallum's. Very disappointed! |

#4 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:33:13 PM Wichy-VCU 1st round? Should be a great one.
Long Beach St. will be a trendy pick I reckon but I think NM should get by them.
Like you, I thought the Det-KU match-up was very interesting for a 1st round game. Should be entertaining. Det may be able to hang.

#5 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:34:19 PM Agree on Detroit/Kansas.. Will be an interesting matchup
How bout LBSU getting a terrible draw, 12 seed having to face New Mexico and then possibly Louisville.. Was hoping I could have the beach in my 16 but I don't know now. |

#6 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:41:08 PM LBSU always schedules monsters throughout the year and they just dont get rewarded. NM is a hell of a squad who is rolling right now. I agree, tough on them.
Wichy should beat VCU, but the tourney experience for VCU is huge. WIchy is the better team, though. They are a very, very talented mid-major.
Xavier should beat Notre Dame. I like Brey, but I dont like teams that live and die by the three in the first round.
Iowa State/UCONN should be a great game. See which UCONN team shows up.
Pauly - I got the Drive Soundtrack. No need to look for that if you remembered.

#7 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:42:18 PM Talk about tough roads, Kentucky the #1 overall has got a road to hoe just to get to the elite 8.........WoW......
I mean 3rd round they see either Uconn or Iowa st., no cake walk there, then you got Wichy st / VCU / NM st to get to the elite 8. In the elite 8, I would say Baylor looks good on the other side of this bracket if Mr Jones doesn't fall asleep again.
IU & Duke r done in my estimation.
If you have a prop on them to win it......................... |

#10 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:48:16 PM Pretty tough draw for the Zags having to go all the way to Pittsburgh, but I actually think they match up decently with the Mountaineers. Sacre on Jones. Harris on Kilicli. They will need big games from the freshmen Pangos and Bell Jr. though which may be asking a lot, but should be a good game.

#11 Posted: 3/11/2012 7:51:54 PM Interested to hear your thoughts on a few more RJ.. Indiana/NM State Louisville/Davidson Wisconsin/Montana GTown/Belmont
Could be some possible upsets in there, liked what I saw from NMState in their tourney, Davidson proved they could play with the big boys beating Kansas, Wisky plays well in the tourney but intrigued by Montana, not real sold on Gtown this year but its been killing me all year lol

Think Harris will be on Jones and Sacre on Lumberjack....Jones likes to hoist 3's Sacre won't leave the paint... |

#16 Posted: 3/11/2012 8:03:04 PM shrimp you're probably right on those match ups.
Personally I like what the Zags bring on the defensive end and I have not been impressed with the outside shooting from the WVU guards all season

Truck Bryant is either real good or real bad.....unless Jones puts up 30 think Zaga knocks them off... |

#23 Posted: 3/11/2012 9:41:17 PM If Florida played like they did yesterday and finally woke up with the effort. They could give Mizzou hell in the second round, I have been down on Florida because their effort has been awful this year because they are way better than they have played and yesterday they showed that. Mizzou plays wreckless and undisciplined street ball type at a fast paced, which would give UF a chance to outshoot them and run with Beal, Boynton and Murphy. I think UF will simply outscore UVA unless they have a dynamic performance from that Mike Scott guy. |

#25 Posted: 3/11/2012 10:10:53 PM Like S. Fla to roll Cal. Pac 12 is abhorrent this year. Should have only let Colorado in.
Some very sharp lines. Loving how New Mexico has been playing I can see them winning by DD vs. LBst. |
