Huskies won at home by 7 the first time by shooting 55% to WV's 32%. I see a lot of people on Uconn, but be careful everyone...just my two cents:)

Try going a little more indepth before you warn people. wvu a smaller team than U conn KILLED them on the boards offensively. wvu had 65 shot attempts to U conns 47. 24 of those 65 being 3 pointers.

Play the game again do you really see wvu beating a re focused bigger uconn team on the o-boards by 11. Also most of the boards that wvu got were incredibly big bounce backs off 3 point attempts. U conn knows this and i would imagine they are preparing for it. The sad thing is even though wvu killed on the stats sheet they still lost by 7. How do you lose by 7 when you take 20+ more shots then a team, win the turnover margin by 5. The answer lies in the paint where wvu was highly contested. Play this game over again and I still think uconn wins, because even though wvu could bring its shooting percentage up, it will most likely be due to less shots taken. In fact if that happens and they still shoot 35% and uconn gets over 50% it will be a blow out.

Taking u conn based on what i've seen. No way is it a confident play.

I have 100% confidence that if you bet on the rice/ecu game you will lose a lot of money long term. You don't make money picking true 50/50 games that are a pick. let degenerates who need action a 1pm on a wednesday make that bet for you. plenty of other games on the board. I'd rather play the southland game and the SWAC game then the C-USA toss up of the year. ECU is not a good team, either is rice, rice has made some noise in this tourney in the past. Games in memphis where both of these teams got worked by memphis. My advice, just take memphis to win the whole thing.

There is no way what I said happens. Although U conn does contest shots they are not a fast team, they will always lost on the side of shots taken, i doubt they lose by 20+ on shots taken this time around though. The big question is if Oriakhi can make his presence felt on the glass and get those key rebounds that stop wvu's 2nd chance points. Which 2nd and 3rd chance points were the only reason wvu was even close in that game. Drummond and Lamb can't be doing all the work on the glass. People may say clahoun is overrated and it may be true but you cannot deny the amount of effort he consistently gets from his players and the amount of preparation they do. Also according to experts on ESPN WVU is in even if they lose this game based on their body of work. U conn still has some work to do, to get a firm seeding. They need this game way more.

Big thing I've noticed down the stretch is U conn is playing a much better team game, are taking advantage of their size on the inside and getting some timely blocks and when they get to the line they make it count, could all fall apart today though.

On the other side WVU has not been shooting the ball well and one could argue the only reason they beat USF was because USF did not play very well, they gave up a lot of cheap fouls on 2nd chance opps.

A hot Uconn team?

They almost blew up against Pitt at home and then beat depaul. Previously they lost to a Providence team that just got destroyed. I understand the love for Uconn since last years run, but I do not think this team is nearly the same. I would tread lightly either way.

I'm not saying they are the same as last year. Also regardless of the strength you give who they played all those games were very close. I can't take away a providence win because they got worked in a neutral site or on the road, providence has always been tough at home for u conn. It's a rivalry. Providence killed louisville earlier in the year, stuff happens. Regardless of what has happened U conn has come together a bit down the stretch no they are not the same as last year, but they are more than good enough to beat wvu on a neutral court. 3rd round hopes unlikely though. Can't see them getting by a team that actually matches up with them on the inside.

WVU will be playing 5 freshmen today, how many of them have played at the Garden. They will have to adjust to the sight lines. Take UConn 1st Half as a degenerate bet.

Oh please what has wvu done that warrants anything. I mean you can say everyone is on Uconn because they won 2 games in a row but that is not true, they have played better down the stretch than wvu. Just look at the stats on the games how is the lazy undisciplined team taking on average less shots a game then their competitor. All of your arguments are opinions based on what you have seen during the whole year.

Lazy undisciplined teams rush shots, and when they start to get down or a team makes a run on them they lose confidence and star to break. What exactly is not mentally tough about a team that can be losing a game by DD"s and go on a run to cut the game with a basket. Eventually they end up losing but a team that is not mentally tough would not be able to pull something like that off.

What is mentally tough about a team on the opposite side of that coin, exactly where WVU was last week at home against Marquette. Up DD's at the half and they lose by 1.

You say WVU is mentally tough yet they have never proved it. get a tough call against syracuse late in the game, yes it should have been goal tending - after that they fall apart - is this what we call mentally tough?

Everyone is on UConn's nuts because they think history is going to repeat itself just as it did last year.  I'm here to tell you this UConn team is alot different from last year's team.  The main reason is Kemba Walker is now in the NBA.  W Va beat a hot USF team on the road Saturday and is a very tough and disciplined team.  Give me Truck Bryant and Kevin Jones anyday over these Huskies.

Yea wvu is mentally tough and disciplined alright. Take shitty shots to close out a game and fall apart up almost dd's with 4 min's left.
