#8 Posted: 3/5/2012 3:40:16 PM HUGE PLAY TONIGHT ON TOLEDO ROCKETS FOR ME --- Top play of the day on the Toledo Rockets over Miami, Oh in the first round of the MAC Conference tournament.
The MAC, unlike a lot of confcrences, allows teams to host games in the early stages before going to a neutral site. The funny thing is I forgot this fact and I thought Vegas was listing Toledo as a two-point favorite because the game was on a neutral court. Wrong!!
It's in Toledo's back yard and they're still only a two-point favorite. I'm not sure why, but I'll take it. For starters, Toledo is a lot hotter than Miami, Oh recently, winning six of their last seven games with the only loss coming at Northern Illinois. Miami, on the other hand, has dropped three straight, five of their last six and six of their last eight. And the only games they're winning are home games.
The Redhawks are a pathetic 2-13 SU on the road, scoring just 58 points per game while allowing 67. And while Toledo is only 9-8 at home (they're actuaclly decent on the road), but they score 72 points per contest while allowing around 69. No, it's not a large margin of victory on average, but because Miami is so bad I really like my chances.
Like I said... I like how Toledo is playing right now and I don't like what I've seen most of the year from Miami. Unless they have a major meltdown, I see Toledo winning this game 65-56.
I posted on my page! Thanks Puck |

Could you please provide us with a little insight as to your top selections? I notice that you are an avid poster but you rarely provide any reasons for your selections. Not bashing. Just curious.
Thank you. |

Thank you.
Saw a poster on here a few weeks ago with 5 very nice writeups. Four of the plays lost!!! I ask you, what good were those writeups ?????????????
I think this poster puts his plays on his thread and you can decide for yourself if you want to play them of whatever. I knoe some players feel that the poster must also writeup his plays, but some guys don't have time to spend on writing up a game !! |

Most people who come on here are looking for information that they might have overlooked when analyzing games. That really is what this forum should be about. I know there are plenty of posters who use this forum to garner attention that they are obviously lacking in their everyday life. Personally I don't give a crap whether or not you care about writeups. This post was directed to Puck and not to you. So I must respectfully say for you to mind your own business.

Little brash aren't you. If Pucku27 wanted to post a writeup he would have already done it. Look back over his post and you will find NO WRITEUPS. The most he posts is a sentence or two. Do your homework before mouthing off. OK |

Another poster that feels that he must resort to name calling. That says a lot about you. |

I think maybe a lot of people don't read the blogs. They just go to the various forums and read the threads. I don't know that, but I think they find that the easiest way to read a lot of opinions. |
