LA Lafayette -1 (1 UNIT) - Great spot for a very good home team. This game last year was one of my biggest plays of the year and ULL escaped with an OT win and a cover. Denver has some very good road performances this year but getting the Sun Belt's best team at home on Saturday wreak's of look ahead. ULL may not get the pace they want but their perimeter defense is exactly what you need to defend Denver.
North Texas +5 (1 UNIT) - Another 'spot' play. MTSU gave Vanderbilt all they wanted in the Blue Raiders 'SUPER BOWL' last Saturday. Now they face a very good home team that has the defense to frustrate the Blue Raiders. This is the second game of a brutal three game roadie and this is likely the least interested we'll see MTSU during this stretch.

Colorado -2 (-120 1.5 UNITS) - Oregon State played their best game of the year on the road in their win over rival Oregon on Sunday. They played a flawless 2nd half and that gives us a great chance to fade them against Colorado tonight. The Buffs have been great at home in conference play and are facing an Oregon State team that will be hard pressed to continue their incredible play from Sunday. We only have to give up a bucket here and that makes this play worth a shot. This is a much improved Colorado defense from last year and they are a solid rebounding club as well. Both teams are very good at getting to the line but Colorado does a better job of keeping their opponent off the FT line. The one main concern is Colorado's ability to take care of the ball but I will take the home team coming off a loss and the better defense in what should be a pretty entertaining game.

Great writeups as usual Yacker. With you on Colo and N Tex. Still looking at La-La. I'm leaning toward Washington - good home team and UCLA hasn't won on the road in conference, though they're playing better of late. Any opinion?

I would probably lean Washington here but UCLA has been a tough read this year and I'll lay off.

Note on Florida game...SQUARE AS HELL! I know Florida has a couple of huge games ahead of them but South Carolina just doesn't matchup well at all against the Gators. South Carolina's defensive weakness is on the perimeter and Florida can knock it down from deep better than anyone in the league. South Carolina is athletic in the post but they don't score well in the post. I just don't see South Carolina scoring well enough to cover this number.
