#1 Posted: 3/26/2011 1:27:49 AM Tourney Record: 22-17-1 (-4.7)
A couple solid games on tap to start off the weekend on Saturday. 2-3 on Friday night, not the best but I'll roll with it. Surprised how well Kentucky outplayed the Bucks in all aspects of that game. VCU a solid SU winner, and I don't expect them to beat Kansas but who knows, maybe they are this year's George Mason from 2006 (same league, same seed, playing a #1 seed to get to the final four...hmmm )
One play in for Saturday:
ARIZONA +3 (4U)
May sprinkle a bit on the ML but the odds aren't that great at +130 (hoping for +150). Both teams have looked very well, and should be another great game. If UCONN wins it it'll be on a last second jumper by none other Kemba Walker. But D. Williams will have his way as usual, and it'll be up to the role players for Zona, who have had a by far tougher 3 games, to pick up the scoring which they have done so far.
Early game will be another great one between Florida and Butler. Andrew Smith should be fine and ready to play according to Brad Stevens, which is huge. 2 point game either way
BUTLER +4 (2U)
Surprised to see the line move a full point as it was +3 Friday afternoon. I plan to add 2 more units to Butler, but want to see if it goes any higher overnight.
Haven't seen the Sunday lines at all. BOL

#9 Posted: 3/26/2011 2:45:20 AM man i just dont see why arizona is getting 3, i think the same that if uconn wins it will be on last second shot,i have watched arizona in all most all there games down the stretch,i just keep remembering what isiah thomas did to them in pac 10 championship game{buzzer beater} and torched them all day, kemba is pretty much unstoppable, i mean going to basket drawing contact, and jeez that damn screen they set for him at top of key as he jus drills those shots from 23 feet, the key will be if lamb can keep doing what he has done this tourney, and i believe zona shuts him down,it took a miraculous effort from kemba and lamb to beat a very good sd st team, i mean garbage they were the only guys who scored for uconn, dont get me wrong uconn big and physical also but after watching that arizona team drop 57 on duke in second h, i know the oddsmakers seen it too jus cant understand uconn -3 i thought pk or -1 either way especially the crowd is going to be wildcat strong i havent done it yet but im about to back the truck up and dump on arizona |

#13 Posted: 3/26/2011 4:20:08 AM This might sound stupid, but I think this is a let-down spot for Arizona, after beating the almighty Duke basketball team. Also, it's tough to bet against the hottest team in basketball right now.

#22 Posted: 3/26/2011 9:30:19 AM Butler is so undervalued it's not even funny. I've watched a lot of my Sparty teams win unimpressively in this tournament (like Butler) in the past and just keep getting disrespected from linesmakers and square bettors, this is so reminiscent of that. I get it, Butler ain't flashy, they don't run up and down the court throwing alley-oops to each other........ but they win. 8 tournament wins (and counting) in 2 years? We don't see teams do that very often. That being said, today's game will certainly be tough, Florida is hot right now, but I would imagine Coach Stevens and his experienced Bulldogs pull it out, again. I'm not betting it, I've got the #5-16 seed to win that region at +254 bet riding, and I'm pretty confident in it !!! |
