Why not have the 4 16 seeds be the play in games?

I think UConn matches up well against San Diego St. if they end up playing.. Arizona is very dangerous..

They really did not do a good job this year.. Ohio St. has a much tougher regional than Pittsburgh.. How is Florida a 2 and Kentucky a 4?

Tamend yea haven't looked at the brackets, but that is the way the system works like it or not. The committee wants the teams to be close to "home". And Duke earned that, but agree with you it seems like the Devils always play in their own backyard.

Top seeds pretty much always play close to home as possible. Carolina's also playing in Charlotte. Ohio State in Cleveland, Florida in Tampa, Notre Dame & Purdue in Chicago.

I've got to admit the top 4 didn't shock me all that much.  Even though I didn't think Pitt deserved to be there because they got knocked out in their first game of the Big East Tourney.  The best game in the first round I think will be Texas v Oakland.  Don't sleep on that team.  They will cause Texas problems.

Oakland's won me money a lot this year. Great team with an NBA prospect.

I have them in the Elite Eight for sure.

The shocker is UNLV being in over Colorado who beat Kstate 3 times. UNLV is one and done.
