Why no Drexel love?

Just looking around the board, I see everyone and their mother on Towson. Whats up? Why doesnt anyone like the favorite here?

Yesterday the board loved St Johns and UCLA and split. Lets get some talk on this game. The talk yesterday was great.

Drexel won both match ups this year by a combined 9 points.  Now we get a spread of 10?  What gives?

Its weird, even though there were close games earlier, I see this being a blowout. Towson is horrendous. Drexel is playing some of its best ball all year right now. This is a perfect first round tune-up for them here.

Geez....if its sharp taking a 4-26 team against a team motivated for wins because they want to make the tourney, call me a marble.

No, not at all.

Its just surprising when you log onto Covers and you see everyone on a 4-26 team getting 10.

Someone talk me into or out of this game.

RJ - Likely to play Drexel especially since it's dipped below 10.  In the first meeting Towson shot 33% from the field, but 57% from three point land.  They scored 24 points on threes, so first contest easily could have been a Drexel DD win.  Drexel plays great D and Towson plays no D.  Recipe for disaster for the underdog.  I'll caveat that Isaiah Philmore could have an impact in covering this number if he puts forth an effort.  He didn't overwhelm Drexel in the first two meetings, so don't think he will today either.

I did just play the over 53 1stH of the GState game.

With a total of 119 that should have been at 55.

See how that works out as I like the game under, but I couldnt help it when the line was that far off.

This almost exact situation occurred 2 years ago in the 1st round of the CAA tourney (Towson being their traditional shitty self and Drexel fighting for their lives). Drexel was installed as about an 8 pt. favorite.

Score at halftime was 39 - 14.

And NOT in favor of the Dragons.

Nice RJ i wanted to take the under but thought the 53 was to low glad i stayed away

Damn, that was close, lol. I mean, it hit over a minute ago, but they just stopped after that. Missed FTs, ugh.

OK....I need some small leg-work from anyone reading.

Go check your totals, first half and game and please compare with mine....

Tow/Drex ---- 1st H 57 --- Game 126.5  - Diff of 12.5

SIU/Mizzou St - 1st H 56.5 --- Game 124.5 - Diff of 11.5

Creighton - 1st H 55.5 --- Game 123.5 - Diff of 12.5

Thats just crazy. The difference should be between 8.5 and 9.5.

Think they are shading them because they expect teams to come out slow in the conference tourney?
