Weekend notes:
-Just got back from Houston today and man do I miss the great state of Texas. As for UT, unbelievable win by itself. Even more impressive with the massive deficit when usually the 'Horns get big leads there and fold in the Phog late. Not sure if it was a deserved win or if KU just sucked, but it is what is. 2-2 for me on Saturday up a little because I went ML on Tennessee rather than spread. Think that's the way I'm doing it with road teams from now on if the number's not huge...

Patience is a virtue, but if you're not into that sorta thing play Pittsburgh tonight. I can't lay DDs in conference, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a blowout here. ND won't shoot well on the road and they can't bang inside with Pitt

Already pounded Pitt tonight. What do you think about Rider -1. Key player for Siena out.

Texas was a well desereved win and KU sucked.....Kansas had a lot going on with the death of one of their players mothers the night before the game....Most of the players were up all night with their teammate. It's a bad deal, in the last two weeks he has lost both grandparents and his mother. His Mom was 38. He has a nine year old sister....not sure what is happening with her.


Regardless, UT played very well in the second half and deserved the win.....not sure what to make of Kansas' performance due to the distractions...

Boy O Boy was that Texas game sweet! Went double or nothing in the second half as a personal challenge because I couldn't believe I overrated Texas so much.  Obviously the result was unexpected but nonetheless very sweet!

Man your threads are confusing...You've got all this information and then you pick a game for Tuesday. Am I the only one who's thought the pick was for Monday?

Had no idea about that, awful news. My mom's had health issues for the past few years so I can answer to how stressful that is. Makes me wonder how good of a win that is now...

RP-- I don't have a feel for the MAAC at this point, but Jackson is a huge loss before the other blow to their depth


Footballing-- wouldn't suggest it, especially on the 'Horns as a visitor, but it certainly 'capped an awesome week for UT basketball

I figure it's a waste to not post in a thread I make and that's likely because the only thing I can see myself playing today is if Pitt is losing at halftime I'd take them in the 2H.

I'll try to space it out better, but that's why I listed the day of the week

Still a good win....UT played very well in the second half.

 

For the record, the player was Thomas Robinson. A major piece off the bench and a very tough inside presence. He won't be with the team at Colorado tomorrow night......not sure about what the future holds. He will be missed on the court.

I think Colorado is much better at home like everyone in this game, but KU should be very angry about losing to Texas and they lost in Boulder last year so I doubt they are looking past CU today even with K-State on deck. I certainly wouldn't back KU based on all the drama surrounding the program with Thomas Robinson, though

Leslie for NC State is reported having the flu but he is listed as Probable.
