TEX -26 (5U)Just like most of the top teams in the land they have all taken care of business why would it change now. UK is probably the only one that did not cover the first game but they are very young and that was expected. As for TEX they lost 2 great players but reloaded with some serious talent in Bradley, Hamilton, an Brown. This team is absolutely huge! From my understanding this might be the deepest team Barnes has had in quiet sometime. 5 in 5 out and to benefit that they are all athletic. They will dominate the paint and the glass in this contest. I expect Balbay and Lucas really control this game hitting the open man and setting up some big runs.As for UC IRV they did bring in some big bodies and big bodies is it. They will not have the athleticism to run for 40 minutes in this one. They don&#x27;t have the depth either. What I like most about this one though is that UC IRV is primarily a team that lives and dies by the J. Which if this is the case they will have there runs but it will go colder a lot more facing this BIG 12 D. They would have to shoot some crazy numbers to keep this within 15. There will be no 2nd chances for UC IRV in this one and I expect TEX to set the tone early and come out of the gates fast. They might be close to covering this one by half. TULSA -21 (2.5U)This is a bad spot for FIU. They are on the back end of there 3 game road trip. Traveling from Florida to North Carolina. Then out to New Jersey. Now they have to fly out to Oklahoma. This is a lot of wear and tear on a new group early. I think they will compete for 10 minutes in this one and be ready to pack it up and get back for there home opener. Isiah obviously does not have these kids buying into the system yet and the effort on the defensive end has been horrid. Giving up a average of 94 points per game so far. WOW! As for Tulsa they return almost everyone and this team has high expectations. This teams defense will set the bar in this one and if they play good defensively like I think they will they will cover this line easily. If not it may be tougher than I think. I know Tulsa is wanting to start the season strong and games like these you have to take advantage of. By the way Tulsa has a home game tomorrow in football vs ECU. So the this place will be jumping then heading to the fottball game. Should be a packed croud for a very good CUSA team. Jordan and Uzoh will have this team focused and ready to play big. VALPO/UNC OThis is just a lean...WVU -24Not sure I want to play this one yet but will see. Surprisingly this is probably my favorite game tomorrow. I understand Rouoff is gone and the scoring has to come from somewhere. But when you play smaller conf schools you don&#x27;t need it when you have a D like this and a team that can flat out hit the offensive and defensive boards like these guys. These guys I bet have been licking at the chops to get back on the court and take pride on what makes this team go and that rebounding and D. Huggings is one of the best at getting his teams to play like this. Guys I know the Big East struggled on opening night but there is a select few in that conf this season that are head and shoulders above the conf and WVU is one of them. Take the travel out of this one cause there both traveling cross country for this one. This is a non factor. Loy does return the experience they need to compete in this one. But they cant compete for 40 minutes. They are not deep enough and the and they don&#x27;t have the inside guys to track down WVU and block out for 40 minutes. If they can limit WVU off the boards we might have a game. Expect Butler and E&#x27;Banks to start the season off right. I expect Mazzulla to play a big part of these Mountaineers this season as his leadership will play a huge roll. Give me the more scrappy and and athletic team that will be in your face all night. Waiting to see the ORE ST/TTECH line but I think thats it. BOL all!

If it was a true a road game I would have put it in already but I am still leery about WVU ability to knock down the J. If they show up and not play D LOY will cover easily.

Anyone taking the heels today? Despite the 22 point win last year, I thought the December 2008 UNC - Valpo game was one of the heel's worst offensive performances in awhile - extremely sloppy. If they would have taken better shots they would have won that game by 40. I'm looking for them to be more focused today because of that.

Valpo doesn't have much size in their starting 5, so I can't see them getting anything out of their halfcourt game if UNC pressures the ball and forces everything into the middle like they did against NCCU. UNC's defense looked awesome in that game (granted it was against NCCU). Their only chance is to nail the open three which UNC is prone to give up.

The heels should get what ever they want on offense if they are patient.

Thoughts on laying the 22? I'm in for a small play and thinking about making it LARGE.
