aven't done many write ups but no better time than now! ND is not the same team on the road as they are at home. They have only played 4 away games so there is a lot to be determined about how effective they are on the road but from what they have done so far, I cannot back them. They won their first two road games @Loyal Marymount 65-54 and @Depaul 92-82. The last two road games they lost @St Johns 65-71 and lost this past week at Louisville 73-87. Their opponents are averaging 73.5 and they are scoring 73.75.
On the flip slid Syracuse is quite comfortable at home having played 12 games at home to date. They have played some lame teams but still have taken care of business, except for the Clev. game which was won on a last second DEEP 3. Syracuse is averaging 82 at home and holding guests to 65 pts. This is their first major home game of the year so they will be pumped and the crowd will be in full support.
No doubt ND is hungry and desperate to win this conference game but not anymore than Syr. Luke will most likely get his, but if Syr. can control ND guards which I think they can at home, they will cover the 4 pts. Maybe too late for a write up because most have already made the play but if your on the fence maybe this will help.

that doesn't guarantee they are going to cover today, nothing is guaranteed.
