#1 Posted: 1/10/2009 5:27:44 PM Start the day with Nc St losing by half point on missed free throw...Nova loses by 1....Maryland misses cover by half point, Rhode Island(yes huge comeback) loses in 3 ot and both teams only get 4 points in first ot, ECU loses by 8 getting 7.5 and fouled down 6 with 9 seconds left...Buffalo loses by half point....
I am getting crushed...losing 6 games by less then 6 combined points...tought to do that!!! |

#4 Posted: 1/10/2009 5:31:53 PM NOVA set me back plenty.
had the ML.
also had the east carolina ML (at +330 it was just too fat).
then they blew a fat 8 point lead by completely falling apart .

#8 Posted: 1/10/2009 6:34:19 PM Its tough to avoid those close ones. I do like to maximize my odds by playing teasers or big 2nd half lines. I had Nova plus 5 half for the 2nd half for example. Also Rhode Island was down 17 and at the half. giving 3half for the 2nd half. Easier line in my opinion. Just my 2 cents. Good luck on your picks |

#10 Posted: 1/10/2009 6:39:42 PM Duke was a brutal beat although I would not consider Nova a "bad beat." All Nova backers knew they were on the wrong side of the game from the opening tip off. Ville dominated them the entire game and almost let a "lock" win slip away. If I told you it would be a one possession game with 15 seconds left you would have jumped at that regardless of the outcome. |
