SIENA               -12 This team has been getting better every game it seems like. They have been playing very well at home also. They competed with KU after getting smacked in the mouth in the first half but battled back nicely. Competed with PITT even though the score doesnt reflect it and beat a decent ST JOES team. I expect the depth of SIENA for this match-up to be to much and should win in a route IMO. Rider has played 2 quality teams or atleast teams that i know well on there schedule and but other than that they havent played anyone compared to SIENA. Will wait to see what the line does throughout the day.

IONA                    -12 Ok here is another line i find extremely strange. Why is this team laying DD to anyone better yet why laying points to anyone. Im just lost on this and i think the only play can be IONA or nothing. Im assuming oddsmakers think IONA D is going to be stellar tomorrow for this matchup. MAAC LEAGUE specialists i could use some help here...

I agree that Siena has definitely played the better competition and edge with home-court.  I guess my concern would be...there's no stats that jump out to me that says Siena blowout...as Marist has really been their only blowout victory at home.  Rider has some talent and can score....I'd just watch the line see where it goes..as it's pretty tight at 12 right now.


As for Iona...I'd actually lean the other way...neither team IMO deserves to be favored by DD's.  Canisius is a poor shooting team, but they make up for it with rebounding....and if Turner has an above average night they can stay close to Iona.

Bird i was doing a little research on Iona and came up with this:
IONA are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 home games, according to the covers matchup on this game.

Last 5 meetings between these 2 schools largest margin of victory was 10 and that game was won by Canisius.

Not saying that past results reflect current teams, just something you may want to think about...

Also: Under is 17-8-3 in IONA last 28 overall.

Bird Iowa played the same way in the IND. game...up by 6-7 at the half, then fizzled in the second for the ATS.

Well just locked in a couple NBA plays. Still really dont like anything tonight in college hoops. Anyways here are my 2 NBA plays but for now back to work on the college hoops card...

Iona is a faded system play right now.  They are getting only 36% public backing as of 10:00 this morning.  As of now, Iona would be the play following the system.

 Bird, any reasoning on why your taking Cavs -4?  Cleveland is playing great as well as Boston is playing shitty but you dont see it being close tonight?  Boston has to bounce back sooner or later.....   Go Gators!

Well BOS bench play IMO is they key to this skid although i wasnt expecting to happen then early in the season. I really thought it would have been a factor down the stretch. CAVS are playing some great ball right now and have just been dismantling teams at home. I expect the same tonight. Points do seem attractive to back BOS but CLE would love nothing more to split the season series up tonight. Points may seem like a lot but i have CLE winning this game by 8-11 pts. Big time playoff atmosphere will be in the building tonight and LeBron is the type of player that his game goes to a different level for these type of games. ML may be a safer bet but i am very confident in this one just like when i loaded up on LAL for Christmas day.
