So I've been fighting with oddsmaker for the past 30 freaking minutes about a wager I placed. My wager for the game was supposed to be $100 dollars on kansas o135.5. However, somehow someway the o/u line got typed in at $1355. So I now have about a 1/4th of my account on this one play. Yes I know to some of you this isn't much money but to me it is. Needless to say I'll be getting drunk while watching this game.

Sorry about that. That's a pretty fked situation.I know my bookie would of cancelled that.I get 1hour to cancell any bet.

Sometimes it pays off to deal with real person. I guess all you can do is hoping for the win however if you really don't like it I suggest hedging it and pay the far less vig.

Why don't you just bet the other side to cancel some of the play?

Could always hedge and take the juice loss. Maybe even watch the line movement and get a middle. Sorry about that bud. You still got alotta options here IMO.

I'd lose 10% juice, would rather ride it instead of losing the juice. I mean basically what I have on the line is what I've earned so far this season, so the way I'm kind of looking at it is even if I lose this bet it'll just be like starting the season over.

Either hedge or pull your money out. The book I use would let me cancel it and give me my money back as soon as the game is over.

You would rather lose the whole thing than lose $135? Anyway, since you like the over, bet $1100 on the under. If the over wins, you still win $135. If the game goes under, you lose only $370, much better than $1355, unless of course you were

Just juice it out.  I'm suprised you can even get that kind of money down at one place on a college hoops total.

I would call them back and give them an ultimatum. Tell them to look at your betting history that will show you have never bet this large and then say if they don't pull the wager that, win or lose you will close the account tomorrow. Just let them know that you are willing to do this and there are a 100 other reputable on-line sites that would love your business.

With that they should do it and if not do you really want to use the site anyways? Look at it like this, what if you where drunk or a buddy of your was being an idiot and thought it would be funny to type a 10k bet and they choose not to accomodate a cancelation, then you would be fucked.

Free country. Look, you start a thread stating that you are upset because  book won't let you cancel your bet. You have a way of making your original $100 that you wanted to bet to begin with, or only losing $370 as opposed to 1355. You have chosen to let it ride, which I respect (I am on the under, though), but don't complain about your book making a mistake when you can easily recitify it.
