#5 Posted: 11/26/2008 1:00:07 AM he is one of the reasons I took cuse 50-1 to win it all. We all know how important it is to have a good guard in the tourney. They have the big man inside and a good supporting cast. 50-1 is just too much value for me to pass up. |

#6 Posted: 11/26/2008 1:00:31 AM The truth is, I don't know why most teams don't foul when up by three... you know they are gonna take the shot... stupid. But I liked it tonight. |

#10 Posted: 11/26/2008 1:26:17 AM Glad I just took KU for the first half so I didn't have to worry about that ending. Flynn's great play made up for the brutal play of Devo tonight. Man that guy is awful at times.
Syracuse to me still isn't consistent enough to be a big player in the tournament. The talent is there, but they are sloppy and look awful at times. Beating Kansas is a good win, but no way do they come back like that against a team like Pitt, Uconn, or UNC.

#11 Posted: 11/26/2008 1:35:34 AM Although I won money on the game the pla of Flynn was awful! Great shot at the end to redeem himself but if you look at the body of work throughout the game he simply played awful. Aside from the countless turnovers the bulk of his shots came off outlet passes for an open dunk. This Syracuse team is loaded and would be much better served letting Dorf be the pg and use Flynn as the shooting guard on offense.
I am a Uconn basketball fan and am being 100% objective. Uconn has no shot at the national title this year because there team is soft and lacks a winning nature. The guard play is mediocre and aside from Thebet the team is weak. As I have said Notre Dame wins the national title and Syracuse will make a big run if Jimmy can tell Flynn to move to SG on offense. |

#12 Posted: 11/26/2008 2:19:12 AM Jimmy you are in denial man, I think Flynn was player of the game.
Stop being a hater, Flynn is the reason they won with all those steals in the 2nd half. Then those big 3s he hit, were crazy. Dude is awesome.

#21 Posted: 11/26/2008 8:36:34 AM Jim Tressel your comment is just stupidly insane!!! Did you watch UCONN vs Wiscy??? Obviously you didn't to make a comment like that. You would think you know your team better than that! One thing UCONN is and always has been is a guard laden team with killer instinct. This year they have that 10 times....if anything its just a shame the BIG EAST is so damn good!!! Thats the only thing that will hurt...playing Ville,Pitt,ND,CUSE, NOVA,Quette.....my god...I can't believe all these teams are in same league!!!!! |

HAHA Devendorf the thug life at pg? You think that will curb their turnovers? That guy is one of the worst i have ever seen at driving to the hoop and forcing plays that arent there. The only thing he did good last night was shoot the 3, hence why they call him a shooting guard. I almost think Cuse would be better off without that guy, every time he gets the ball on the break rest assured he will put his head down and take on 2 6'9+ post players in the post. He is so out of control it is disgusting, he wishes he were playing streetball. I love the Cuse but Devendorf will cost this team 3 wins this year at least because of that from the SG position and you want him to play pt? |
