tenn The Vols, who won all four of their nonconference road games last
season after winning just four of their previous 14, play their next
four games away from Thompson-Boling Arena. Friday's contest will be
their first game at Middle Tennessee (2-0) since an 85-80 loss in the
1988 NIT.Since that loss, Tennessee has won six straight over
the Blue Raiders, including a 109-40 rout last season -- the
second-largest margin of victory in school history. The Vols shot 64.9
percent from the floor and made 16-of-28 from 3-point range, while
forcing 29 turnovers and limiting Middle Tennessee to 31.0 percent
shooting. The Blue Raiders finished in third place in the East
Division of the Sun Belt Conference last season, and have been picked
to win the East this year. After beating Trevecca Nazarene 94-53
in its season opener last Friday, Middle Tennessee defeated Houston
Baptist 80-63 on Sunday to open with back-to-back wins for the first
time since starting 3-0 in 2001.Preseason conference player of the year Desmond Yates
scored a game-high 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting on Sunday after
finishing with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting in the opener. Yates had
four points in 31 minutes against the Vols last season. While the
Blue Raiders have high expectations this season, they have had no luck
against Top 25 teams. Middle Tennessee has lost 18 consecutive games
against ranked opponents since 1996, with four of those defeats coming
to Tennessee. im also leaning nc -17.5 with hansbrough back tonite

Tennessee logic- history and trends point to a route in this game. Middle Tenn. is 2-0 playing 2 teams not in Division 1 A and now they get a top 25 team that is probably going to route this team by 30.
ND just go look in Birds thread for a write up he has this dead on.

Sorry Guys Duke -13 small I just feel that Michigan is not getting enough points tonight. Duke has a very established team and I believe they will shoot well on Michigan tonight. I had this line at -19 so just FYI Duke blows out Michigan.
