I mean we saw it for a few years when it was the same 2 guys Federer and Nadal constantly winning everything with no challengers in sight and now along comes this freak of nature in Djokovic....I seriously felt as though Nadal would finally break the streak and felt his fresh body along with a few new tactical changes to his game would do the job but Novak looked outta this world for a good 2¾ of the game.
His ability to out last Rafa in the dying stages whilst basically running on lactic acids would again enforce in his own mind, how superior he truly is as the world number 1. I don't see anyone being able to beat his game apart from possibly Murray who is still mentally fragile when it comes to the final.
Is there going to be anyone currently in mens tennis who will topple this guy?

Djokovic is going to win 3 majors a year for the next 4 years. Hes gonna win the french once or twice and when he does, he might sweep the majors that year. Hes going to go down as the best ever. Hes just too good. We saw it today.

12 majors the next 4 yrs for a total of 17 in his career?
NO CHANCE
he will be lucky to get 10 that Rafa has right now, let alone the 16 that Fed has
he is not dominating players outside the top 2 like Fed and Rafa did. he got taken 5 sets by andy murray who is choke artist in big matches.
Djoko finishes with LESS majors than Rafa and LESS than Fed when it's all said and done
GUARANTEED
he's not nearly as dominant as they were in their runs. he has 4 in the last 12 months - an excellent, excellent year, but something Fed did for 4 yrs and Rafa for 2 yrs.
you are anointing way too early
p.s. i won 5.6 units which is over $2700, between thursday and last night.

Djokovic has won 4 of the last 5. You are an idiot bro. A fool.
A LAUGHINGSTOCK.
you were on suicide watch during joker v murray and Lord knows what you went through yesterday during the joker v nadal thriller that joker damn near lost
i can only imagine how much money you will lose in your short term betting career before busting out

lol. gridiron, why do you always feel the need to add how many units you've won the last couple days, like it somehow makes your statements more valid or insightful b/c you can pick a winner. you did the same thing in my thread. you're comments about joker winning that many majors are solid opinions. but really, why do you need to sign it with how many units you've won, like you've somehow done something that deserves recognition

ps i'm up 11 units for the AO
thanks for recognizing that my opinions are solid. i do win a lot more than i lose both on bets and predictions about the long term future of players/teams.
i was posting my units won the semis because the person i was directing it to was implying that because i lost yesterday's pick (which i think was a very solid pick on Nadal +145), that somehow i always lose.
i don't lose as often as i win (thankfully), but i can tell that guy has a serious problem because he was literally ready to commit suicide during the joker-murray match
that, people, is a serious problem that is heading down a bad path!!

i love a little bit of an intense match. i didnt think joker was going to lose once. In the 5th set when he lost the break, i bet on joker at +500. You keep on saying that we were going to commit suicide? bro just for you to even think that, you have a gambling problem. If you think that then you must have hung yourself after the second set.

While it may be too early to say Djokovic will have more slams than Federer or Nadal, can we at least give Novak Djokovic some credit here? He is only 24 years old and has won 4 of the past 5 grand slams.

I think Murray has the game to take it to Djokovic on a consistent basis but he doesn't possess the same level of mental steel as Fed, Rafa or Djokovic.

He is 24 yrs and 8 mos old. by this exact age, Rafa had 9 slams compared to joko's 5.
Joko will win more slams, but i dont think he's dominant enough to reach 10 slams that rafa has.

Nadal will make things interesting if he wins the french. But remember last year djokovic beat him in two clay finals before roland garros, would have been interesting to see how he fared against djokovic in the French but Fed stopped him in the SF. Wimbledon will be the most contested with the top 4 ( yes even Murray) having a really good shot at it the US and French will be won by Djokovic or Nadal for sure. We also have a few rising stars that can make it interesting for the top guys in the earlier rounds (tomic, raonic, nishikori), not to mention Del Potro if he gets back to pre-injury form.

If Nadal continues to beat Federer in the Semis and Djokovic gets to play Nadal in the finals, then it looks like Djokovic will have a couple more grand slam wins this year. How many times in a row does Djokovic have to beat Nadal for people to start giving him some credit? 10? 13?

i have to agree with Grid here, i dont think there is even a 10% chance djokovic reaches Federers total.. he has a slight slight chance to catchup to nadal but i highly doubt it..

i have to disagree with you 100% here, i love it when there isnt parity in the tennis game. I like having the best 4 guys reach the semis every grandslam. i wouldnt have it any other way.... And im pretty positive that tennis ratings are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy higher when the big 3 are in the finals (federer, nadal or Djoker) so you might be the only one that finds that it might be boring...

completely agree. Djoko did nothing until he was 23.5 yrs old, then he started his run. where was he before then? oh yea, he was getting his ass kicked by Fed, Nadal, and lesser players than he (Djoko).
he has had a remarkable run that has shocked the tour the last 12-13 months, but why do i have a feeling that Rafa will be ready and waiting at the French (if Fed or someone else does not KO djoko first) and that Wimb and the US open will have many players who excel on grass and hardcourts who are ready to go against Djoko?
