#2 Posted: 1/7/2012 3:48:53 PM tsonga was way too good for monfils...i like murray tonight to beat dolgo easily but the line is too juiced...i took raonic a few days ago at +275 to win chennai and now he's +120 or so vs tipsarevic in the final so i will let that bet ride |

#3 Posted: 1/7/2012 3:51:19 PM i'll post nfl playoffs in this thread as well:
cincii has not beat a good team on the road this year...their defense leaves a lot to be desired...houstons defense is very stout and i don't see cincii moving the ball on houston today except for maybe a big play or 2 by green or someone...i'll take the better team, at home, with a better defense...won't go into stats and stuff but the stats point houston as well
i do not see detroit competing vs new orleans today...detroit couldn't stop the packers backups from torching them last week, i don't see how that is going to change in the superdome...brees and new orleans are playing lights out...detroit will take a couple stupid penalties and i don't see them stopping the saints at all
lean the giants and steelers tomorrow
Houston -3.5

#4 Posted: 1/8/2012 12:07:59 PM Milos Raonic wins 6-7, 7-6, 7-6...great match...he is the first player since federer in 2008 to win an atp world tour finals without dropping his serve the entire tournament
2-0 in the nfl yesterday, sundays wildcards
Giants -2.5 -119
Under 47.5 +102
atlanta hasn't shown me anything this year, especially on the road they have beaten nobody...their 3rd down defense is atrocious, giving up 44% conversions
will be on pittsburgh in the late game |

#5 Posted: 1/14/2012 3:46:35 PM 4-0 posted in the nfl playoffs
i believe the home teams off byes in divisionals are historically very good su and ats...however, i like this saints team..brees is playing on another level and even though they are on the road, outside, etc, i will not take san fran plus the points...i see both teams chewing up some clock...the saints will have a much tougher time going against the san fran defense who is very good than the shitty detroit d...therefore took the underSaints/Niners Under 47.5i have already taken baltimore tomorrow, can't see the texans staying in that game, i think yates will make a mistake or 2 vs that baltimore di have the under 47.5 at betfair, a traders book but i know a lot of outs like betfair, pinnacle, etc are not available for some...i often don't have an invested interest in an outcome by the end of the game..for example yesterday i went to bed knowing that i would walk away with a profit (green book) regardless of the outcome of the heat/nuggets nba game...so even though i don't like the saints price pre game, i may take them in play them at a lower price, then take the 49ers at some point in the game, then back to the saints, etc...however i must admit sometimes you can lose your shirt if there are no swings in the game..also you have to be ready to take different sides within minutes so you have to be on the ball, can't be completely fucked up with the drinks and smokes lol......so when i go out tonight, i won't worry about trading a game as i just want to enjoy it..now enough about me lol ..enjoy the playoffs fellas as football is coming to an end...will be around for a couple hours if anybody wants to chat...will try to post some thoughts on the games...good luck australian open starts tomorrow, will have some thoughts this weekend...looking forward to it

#10 Posted: 1/19/2012 7:11:52 PM hi FlutieManiac and taurus, should be a great tournament:
3rd round starts today:
DelPotro has not looked good his first 2 matches...i think Lu will get at least 1 set, he has a chance to win the match imo
a capper i respect also likes the Wawrinka/Almagro and Berdych/Anderson matches to go over the total
Lu +7.5 games vs Del Potro (-110)
Lu +2.5 sets +135 vs Del Potro
Berdych/Anderson Over 35.5 games
Almagro/Wawrinka Over 38.5 games |

#15 Posted: 1/25/2012 9:38:24 PM 0-3 for the tournament
fed is playing well but we all know about the h2h between these 2
Nadal +140 vs Federer
i will be on Murray in some way tomorrow vs Djokovic...i have lost on murray numerous times the last couple years in slams but he seems more confident this year
in the womens semis i will take both dogs
Clijsters +107
Sharapova +135 |

#16 Posted: 1/25/2012 11:33:00 PM losing tournament, i think i have learned some things this year and hopefully will have a better finish to this year and onto next year...the 1 thing i have learned is that murray has lost me thousands of dollars on just futures the last couple years..he had his chances vs nadal, especially in the fourth set at 1-1 but he misses his bread and butter shots like the short backhand..he doesn't have the will yet
and fed, what can i say about that match...2 match points up again vs joker like last year and again he loses...he choked on the second match point when he missed an easy forehand...once joker got the break, i knew the match was over...fed goes away sometimes
i think nadal can repeat here...he played well vs murray..joker used up a lot vs fed a couple days ago...i would take Nadal +155 vs Joker...should be a great match
who said this after the US Open????
|
hahahahaha. . . . . old habits dont die quickly i guess. Murray again |

#19 Posted: 1/26/2012 8:37:22 PM got a win as nadal beat fed...nadal is now 18-9 vs fed and 8-2 in slams (including the last 5)...i didn't understand the line but i will take it
i think murray stands a chance today...hard courts is murray's best chance to beat joker..should be a great match
Murray +4.5 games +113
Murray +230

#20 Posted: 1/27/2012 8:43:34 PM great match between joker and murray, almost 5 hours, nole taking it 7-5 in the 5th..djokovic hit a huge forehand down 15-40 serving at 5 all, then murray dumped a backhand..was able to get some djokovic in play after murray went up 2 sets to 1 but a bad tournament for my wallet,1-5 posted..joker vs nadal tomorrow should be good one
liking azarenka tonight in the womens final...she played very solid vs clijsters..sharapova was hitting some huge groundies in her semi vs kvitova but she is more error prone and her serve can let her down
Azarenka -135 |

#24 Posted: 1/28/2012 5:46:20 PM easy win for azarenka 6-3, 6-0, she had sharapova on a yo yo..she was just way too good this entire tournament, i see many more slams in her future...i like her on court demeanor
djokovic was 6-0 vs nadal last year, all finals, 2-0 in majors and 4 in atp master series 1000 events..in some symmetry last year, he beat murray in italy in the semis on saturday, beat nadal on sunday in the final...djokovic was more fit in murray in the semis and it showed in the 4th and 5th..however the 1 day less of rest compared to nadal could play a part in this final if it gets drawn out
with that said, djokovic presents a bad matchup for nadal...nole keeps on going to his backhand, he likes the bh to bh rallies, gets nadal moving back on the defensive and then can do what he wants
i think this match will be a great 1 to trade..i am going to lay a little on nadal prematch as i just have a feeling that he gets it done this time..small prematch bet, will trade from there...enjoy the final fellas, should be a good one
Nadal +145 |

ya retburj, i'm loving something about the way nadal is playing, more offensive than usual and has that boundless energy |
