Rafa Fed Djokovic
Will be interesting to see if Fed decides to come to the net more this season on grass.

#5 Posted: 5/11/2011 11:22:54 AM On clay surface, the Joker takes out Nadal in straight sets to win a tournament less than 2 months from Wimbledon.
Right now my lean is that Joker wins Wimbledon. Unless somebody else sees another challenger that should or could win it... |

#10 Posted: 5/19/2011 2:10:32 PM Now that the French Open is about to start, we can see that Federer's game has definately fallen. So, I'm very interested to see how Djokovic and Nadal perform here in the French. If the Joker is close to beating Nadal or beats Nadal in the French, he'll likely be the guy I put money on at Wimbledon.
From Sportsbook here are some French open odds:

#11 Posted: 5/19/2011 3:11:14 PM those are some terrible odds...real odds are:
Nadal is +105
Nole is +260
Ferrer is +5000

#12 Posted: 5/22/2011 12:42:47 AM I love Berdych to make it far in Wimbledon this year. I think he has great value at +1200 or more. |

#14 Posted: 5/30/2011 6:43:58 PM Still waiting for the French to finish.
In the quarterfinals I assume N.Djokovic will beat Fognini
Federer should take out Monfils
Murry over Chella
Nadal to beat Soderling
The Semis should have Joker vs. Federer
and Nadal vs. Murry
Then comes the big final between Nadal and the Joker
I can see where Nadal might get this one but then Wimbledon will be the Joker's revenge.
I'm eager to see the futures on Wimbledon to see what kind of odds someone will get on the Joker. It's looking like it'll be his tournament. |

Actually that's a good point. Maybe it's not his tournament. It's just that when you put his record in front of my face this year, it almost seems like he's got to win it. He beat Federer twice this year and Nadal 4 times along with never losing to anyone yet. |

Thanks. After , the Joker losing to Federer and Federer losing to Nadal in the French, I'm kind of confused again as to who to take for Wimbledon. I understand clay is much different than grass, but Nadal has beaten Federer on grass before. The question is, is the Joker better on grass than other surfaces? |

I remember Djoko wasn't all that impressive last year on grass but as I recall he could slide on grass like nothing which most players won't dare attempt. With that in his back pocket and his improved play this year, I actually think he's got about as good of a shot as anyone, but I really need to actually look into his grass stats more before I bet on him or anything.

So, it sounds like he should have at least an equal shot at winning it all. I think it would be a shame if he doesn't win another major this year after his terrific streak. But, we don't put our money down on who we want to see win, it's supposed to be on who will win. So, I'm still unsure on this one. But, I don't think I'll bet on Andy Murray to win Wimbledon or Soderling for that matter. Obviously, it's either Nadal, Federer, or the Joker. But which one? |
