Thanks mate. Nice hit on the Rams ML
I thought my 2nd half bet was lost as I thought they were going to kick a FG making it 8-3 for the 2nd instead
Steven Jackson

As you probably noticed, I am not betting much prematch these days, I prefer to pick up something in play because the season is finished and motivation is questionable for most players.
I am betting this match because the odds are way off (they will drop at least 50 cents by match time), because Seppi struggles against big servers on fast surfaces (Bohli has a great serve, some Top 50 players wish to have his power) and because Bohli is at home. Last year he won vs Acasuso in straight sets in his first round match and Seppi has been pitiful lately losing to much worst players than him.
Confident Bohli takes this match in straight sets but not betting much (only 1.2 units for me also) because I don't like to risk a lot towards the end of the season and I am happy with what I have achieved so far!

Hey buddy.
I don't know how in the world Pinnacle opened at +187 (which I missed). I took +181 several hours ago and expected this to drop big time like it did because Bohli is dangerous.
+135 does not make a lot of sense though. It is what the price should have been in the first place, I would bot play it or if you really like it maybe bet it to win 1 unit.

Thanks for the advice. Wish I had pinnacle :/ I'll probably play it for small just to see at this point.

#8 Posted: 11/1/2009 11:55:04 PM Actually I have done some more research and Seppi seems unfit as well. He is apparently still not over his illness he had lately and therefore he is not 100%.
Bohli's game is perfect for Indoors due to his strong serve and to his attacking style. Seppi being a good counter puncher is dangerous because he forces the extra shot against every opponent but being unfit can commit errors himself and can struggle in dictating the rallies.
Going out on a limb I would say this is a 50/50 match so I would recommend a medium large wager at +135 also-

#9 Posted: 11/2/2009 12:03:13 AM Ah, and if you are planning on playing it, bet it with someone that pays retirement. I bet it on Pinnacle that needs 2 completed sets
Should have bet it with Betfair but had worst odds at that time...

Bautista Agut won 2 qualification rounds here against Darcis and Kendrick, who are arguably in their worst shape of their career, however they are always dangerous and beating both of them in straight sets is impressive.
Montanes is bad on faster surfaces and I don't know much bou Bautista Agut honestly, I have never seen him play therefore I couldn't tell you much. It looks from the 2 qualification rounds that he has a good serve, I would not lay -300 on Montanes but exclusively cos I would bet against an unknown which I don't usually like.
toaster - Pinnacle removed this match from the board. This is why I don't like to bet towards the end of the season, what load of shit. It looks like another fixed match or Seppi is throwing the towel because of an injury. This time I was lucky since I apparently am on the 'right side' but I hate to bet on these dodgy matches. Pinnacle doesn't even pay retirement after a set, let's wait and see what happens between these 2.

#18 Posted: 11/2/2009 8:19:28 AM 211,000£ on Betfair Off the board at Pinnacle and 5Dimes
This match is very dodgy. There is either an injury for Seppi or they are fixing this where one player wins the first set and the other player will win the second set so people can bet who lost the first set at very high odds at the beginning of the second set making sure profit at the beginning of the third betting the guy that won the first set.

#19 Posted: 11/2/2009 8:38:09 AM so TC you suggest to bet on the guy who lost the 1st set????Thats interesting thoughts, i like it!!!
if Seppi wins first set, the line for bohli will be around+300 which is very good odds...and if Bohli wins the first set, Seppi will be @+200 imho.
if Seppi wins it i put some more on Bohli to win, and if Bohli wins it, i just ride my bet..
match about to start

No stream, I hate this also. Damnnn
About what I posted above, without a stream it is impossible to realize if Seppi is injured or if he is throwing the set...
I will monitor market fluctuations but I think that I will stick to my bet, it's just a 1.2 units bet anyway so screw it.
