honestly....

im watching the video, it's the smallest clap.....

if golfers cant concentrate and be in a zone, than you're easily the worst athlete going .....

i understand the no noise rule....but whether its woods pulling a club or buddy on the next hole sinking a putt....go home sergio.

It's just bad etiquette.. Sergio should've just went over and been like thanks buddy instead of airing it on an interview.. It does make for good TV, controversy tho.. Tiger is still a douchebag he does this kinda stuff on purpose no doubt about it.. I still remember the camera man bump..

I don't hate Tiger. I think he's fun to watch. Just saying he's a prick that's all. I mean, you have to be to ignore your handicapped half brother who's in a wheelchair losing his house when you've got hundreds of millions of dollars. Great family man! And theres a reason players don't like him! Stuff like this.

Do some research instead of thinking he's a good person because he's a good golfer.

Ever notice the way Eldrick Woods stands within view of his opponent on the putting green...while his opponent is putting ?

He did it on the 1st two holes today to the rookie who was paired with him.

Tiger intimidated the shirt off of this kid by standing in his view (with his arms crossed looking "mean") while the kid was putting.

This kid is not going to stop and ask Tiger to back off ...(even though he should have ). The kid is scared and probably shaking as it is !

**********************************************

This may not be cheating, but is not proper golf etiquette.

99% of the players that are waiting their turn to shoot will stand FAR AWAY from their opponent and OUT OF SIGHT...even OFF of the green.

Tiger just pulled the INTIMIDATION CARD (eh hem) by trying to make his opponent "fear him" .

Total BS.

But it worked like a charm.

You would never see Arnold Palmer or Jack or Phil or Trevino pull any of this "gamesmanship" BS on their opponents.

It's golf....not football.

It's these little things that posters like THE MUGG + VegasSlim + KobezKing + Ziggy Dogg  don't understand... because they've never played tournament golf.

But believe me...Sergio's assessment was spot on.

Tiger knew EXCACTLY what he was doing when he pulled the club out of the bag.

And I call BS that this alleged "Marshall" told him Sergio had already shot.

Tiger is a proven liar....time and time again this man lies (like at this years Masters when the Masters officials + Tiger concocted a story that would keep Tiger from getting DQ'ed after cheating on Saturday)

If you want to believe his BS and lick his ballz, go right ahead guys.

Enjoy !!!

Liking the banter here..

I don't disagree that he is the best ever.. He is a golf legend.

That being said he is also a headcase and bla bla bla like I've already said.

I was cheering against him today. But when he won you kinda respect him. I felt kinda odd I didn't know whether or not I was happy that he won.

This is in no way cheating...even if he did it on purpose.  It was before Sergio took his shot, not while he was in the backswing or any other part of the swing.  If it was such a distraction to Sergio, back away and reset your routine instead of using it as an excuse.

As far as Tiger being a prick, absolutely he is.  But at the end of the day, there is nothing in the rule book that says you have to be friendly and loving to all your fellow competitors.  He knows he's an intimidating figure, so why not use it to your advantage?  At the PGA level the point is to win...and he does that 27% of the time he tees the ball up at a tournament.  So say what you want, but that's all that matters in his eyes.

Bingo.  If the marshall said Sergio hit, then why aren't people on the marshall's a$$?

Tiger deals with little distractions ALL THE TIME....potentially on every single shot he hits considering the galleries that follow him around.  And I don't care if he's a person....he's not my behavioral role model.  Hockey has its agitators....football has its dickheads. Every sport is gonna have them...why should golf be different.

I watch him because he is absolutely incredible at his craft and I love the fact that he doesn't just want to beat you, he enjoys destroying people.  He loves to put his boot on your throat when you are down (like Jordan did).  LOVE that about him and his game.

He is a competitor. It is called gamesmanship. Happens in every sport. I see nothing wrong with it at all.

The other golfers should not be so weak minded to let it bother them.

He is there to win nothing more nothing less

Players have to deal with roars from other holes all the time....you're gonna tell me that a couple of people clapping on off the other side of the fairway is gonna mess up your shot?  PaLease.

There is a video on yahoo sports today that shows Tiggaaa did take a bad drop on his water ball sunday.

Its obvious and not up for speculation at all, he was near 200 yds further up on his drop, it isnt even close.

it did seem like he was a lot closer than he should of been. But do you think this was cheating or done on purpose?

It sounded like he asked the appropriate people and that was the final decision.

Even if he wasnt intentionally stupid (which in this case it was stupid, his ball entered the water near the tee box) it would be similar to the extra penalty he had earlier this year.

Either way he took a massively bad spot yet again..
