I made the following wager at Betislands back in June for the Us Open. THE SCORE THE CUT MADE AT WILL BE [70024] 148 AND UNDER +115. As I'm sure most of you know, the cut line is the score that players must have in order to continue playing. The cut at the Open was 148, so you can imagine my surprise when I checked the results and found that it was graded as a loser.
I quickly contacted them and requested they regrade it as they had made a mistake. They refused to do so. I then urged them to invest the 30 seconds it would take to pull up the leaderboard and confirm, and if that wasn't enough I sent them a number of sources that confirmed the 148 cut.
Newsobserver.com - The cut line fell at 8-over-par 148 with 72 players making it to the weekend.
USOPEN.com....... The 2012 U.S. Open cut of 8-over 148 eliminated a few notable names....
From Wikipedia...2012 US OPEN..... Cut 148 (+8)
From GOLFWEEK.... When the cut fell at 8-over 148, some notable names left early, starting with Nos. 1 and 2 in the world order.
Despite what I sent BetIslands, they refused to regrade it. I then referred the matter to a sportsbook watchdog site by completing a complaint form. I also let them know that other sportsbooks offered the same wager, such as LVH in Vegas and 5dimes, all of whom graded it correctly. I received no response for 10 days. I then followed up with them and they finally got back to me stating they support BetIslands's decision.
Can anyone recommend a further course of action? Not sure what eles I can possibly do. Thanks!

Already submitted to SBR.....they agreed with the book!!
That's the most puzzling aspect of the situation...you can understand a book making an error from time to time (perhaps they don't have a lot of exerience with grading golf wagers), but when a watchdog site has 10 days to look at a complaint with overwhelming evidence and they still side with the book...really weird. Always thought they were pretty sharp there. Also thought the book was solid until this ordeal.
Most communciations with book were via e-mail...when I called they said I needed to do a chat with a guy named Jon. Tried chat but he was never in. Finally gave up and submitted to SBR.
