i bet 30-1 on schwartzel at betus and did not get paid

Not sure where to turn to for help on this one fellas but Saturday night (after a few beers in me) I looked up the odds to win the Masters thinking that Rory would collapse. I picked a few longshots and actually put 175 dollars on Carl Schwartzel at 30-1. I got a confirmation and even copied and pasted my bets to some friends saying "worth a shot". Betus is not saying I never put the bets in, but rather their excuse was that the odds were too high, or double counted on their end due to a "transmission error". I never heard this before.

In their defense, they had written a note to me saying the bets had been cancelled (thru the website) around 1pm EST. I didnt see this until later (who reads those messages anyways). Their reasoning behind not paying was as follows when I called in to why my bet was deleted "we saw you logged in a placed a few bets sunday, you should have seen that we deleted your golf futures". who checks their pending wagers on a regular basis??????

Yeah I was also disappointed to see that 5 dimes dead heated the top 5 payout had woods Top 5 because Luke birdied the last hole meant 6 guys tied for 4th so the split the pay outs, fuckers!Rather than 300 back I got 130. greedy ass son of bitches..

i will copy and paste the "message" that betus left in my account as to their rationale for deleting. im at work right now and blocked from the website so i will do it when i get home.

im just astonished that these guys harrass you nonstop by phone and email to fund your account, but when they delete one of your bets they leave a little note inside your account that you can easily miss.

We will deal with these crooks from time to time if betting on offshores or locals, only legal Nevada books would honor the bets from time to time.

You should see if you can find out what other books had on Schwartzel going into the final round? I don't recall, but I think it probably was around 30-1.

And you said cancelled around 1pm EST. The timing is certainly interested. I think that was pretty close to around when he teed off. He was -3 on the first 2 so if they cancelled after he started, then that certainly says alot.

In any case, unless the line was clearly erroneous and way off from market, then they were in the wrong for voiding.

I think BetUS is a sponsor here, so maybe contact Covers and see if anyone can help you. Or you can try SBR, though BetUS Has a D+ rating, so that might tell you how likely you are to win.

charles was 13-1 on 5dimes @ the start of sunday and they r usually the highest odds of all books. the greek had him @ 11-1 30-1 is a bad line i had him @ 135-1 on 5dimes and put a little on tiger @ 28-1 and the duck @ 13-1 on sunday that is how i know what they had him listed @ on sunday

little you can do.  If 30-1 was in the range of other books, then maybe but for that to be more than double aqnyone else makes it a tough arguement.  Should have gotten him Friday or Saturday like me
