Chievo to win @-110 - monstrous line swing from the opening which were at/near -175. in most part due to past history, local derby between two teams sharing same field for bragging rights in Verona, not to mention fan base. usually when "little brother" comes up from Serie B and faces their established Serie A crosstown rival, Big Brother tends to put them in their place. but this is actually a pretty even series and are hard fought. however, Verona have scored just 4 goals all year, last Monday cellar dwelling Benev. was red carded in 34th minute and Verona still couldnt figure it out, managing to score in 74th minute to win 1-0. and with their 3 best defenders out I see a lot of value in this line. Chievo in 9th on a 5 match unbeaten streak and have lost only to Juve & Lazio for the year. see them scratching out a solid 1-0, 2-0 win here.
SPAL/Sassuolo BTTS @-120 - Bucchi was recently hired, and hes now in line to be the next HC booted (tho' Montella coming on strong) as Sass was expected to improve on their 10th place finish last year to compete for a European place. instead, they are in relegation zone, leaking goals left & right, (and only Benevento have scored fewer) while conceding almost 2 per game. another bottom of the barrel matchup between teams looking for points.
Torino/Roma over 3 @-120 - not really happy with where Torino is, have them as a longshot to nail a Euro spot next year.yeah, theyre sitting in 8th, just 2 pts away from Roma in 5th; so this is a big match. but theyve dropped pts to teams they shouldnt have, and are back to their old ways of conceding goals in the 2nd half too (5 straight now). and to pile it on, they hit the brunt of their schedule now (Roma, Fior, & Inter in 3 of their next 4 games) without their leading scorer Belotti. 4,5,4,4,4 are the totals in Torinos last 5 matches, vs teams with far less firepower than Romans have;conceding 2 each to relegation candidates is shameful, and now they get Dzeko & friends?? Roma should be exhausted playing Napoli & Chelsea, but that late goal to nab the draw @Stamford Bridge made that plane ride much more fun for them. I cannot see this staying under 3, Torino HAVE TO attack cuz they sure as h*ll cant stop anyone. and Di Francesco wants the 3 here vs a vulnerable team. last 3 H2H's saw 5,3,5 goals.
Lazio -1.5 @-120 - coming off a win vs Juve playing an opponent whom just sacked their HC is a nice spot for them, assuming there are no injuries in Europa & the chance to gain ground at top of table. great spot here. Lazio has won each of the past 3 meetings here by 2+ goals and should have no problems scoring vs a Cagliari side whom have conceded 2+ to all the top of table teams already (Juve, Milan,Chievo, Napoli)
Milan/Genoa over 2.5 @-130 - the +575 dangling in front of my nose is tempting the h*ll out of me. Milan is a mess, and if Montella wasnt aware he's in the hot seat..... he does now. he got "called into the offices" yesterday.... (again); i dunno exactly what went on, but I assure you it wasnt pretty. feel bad for the fans whom have seen ticket prices jacked up to make up for all the money splurged on these over-paid athletes. theyve lost 3 straight Serie A games, needed a 93rd minute hail mary to beat Rjeka(Croatia) and held scoreless vs AEK(Greece) in Europa. and books hanging 200's on home favs vs a team whom have beaten them 4 out of the past 6 H2H's??? Milan have conceded 2+ goals in 4 of their past 5 overall & have just 2 clean sheets the entire year (both vs relegation candidates). for now, Im erring on the side of caution and something to do with that old saying about "cornering an injured animal..." but yes, that road dog looks tempting here.
Fiorentina to win @-145 - love this one. jumped on this line when it came out. a little out of my "comfort zone" with the juice as I elected to ignore -1 AC option. Fior need points, this is a good place to start vs a team whom would struggle in Serie B too. I have a good chunk of coin tied up with future Benevento relegation @-225, which I mentioned was probably the "safest" of all futures I made this year - already chalking this up as a win. (0-0-8, 2/19 goal difference). this squad is bad, and its become even worse; their captain still suspended for doping charge, one of their better defenders (Antei) is suspended for getting that red last monday, along with an injured midfielder whom scored one of their 2 goals this year. shame on anyone whom drops pts vs them.

Udinese/Juve - "common sense" dictates we should win here. Pjanic is back, and the team got a huge morale boost with that late goal midweek.and this match is on Sunday (theyll know the result of saturdays games). but sometimes it helps to separate the heart from common sense.
Nasty spot for my boys.... STAY AWAY. Udinese always gives us a hard time here. we've suffered 3 draws in past 6 visits; and in two of our wins Udinese had really EARLY red cards (i think one was in the 3rd minute fer gosh sakes) issued so those scorelines on our wins should have an asterik next to them. PASS.
Samp/Crotone - dont like these prices for a team whom has been Jekyll & Hyde this year.yes, they are in 6th place, manhandled Milan and beat Fior on road; but blew chunks vs Verona and raped by Udine. until Samp can string together wins im staying away. PASS
Atalanta/Bologna - home side definitely the better team and in better form at the moment. but all this focus on Europa is enuff to make me skip this one. Bologna has the quality in the back to hold this to a draw. PASS

Knowing Juve well, I can assureyou theyre gonna have their ears pinned back for this one tmrw after the result today. not only can they pick up two pts from the two teams directly above them, but more importantly - stay within 3 of Napoli. but (taking off tinted glasses) im gonna re-iterate what I typed above ystday, its a bad spot for them and Udinese always gives us a bloody tough time. gonna lay off this one still and just root them on.
fyi, dunno where that lightbulb came from yes, its a strong play but was spposed to be popcorn man.
rest of card:
Villareal -1 @-111 - just going to keep riding this team whom are one of the most in-form in Primera. unbeaten at home and scoring in bunches of late as theyve started their match to the top of table (finally). LP have been the polar opposite of late and just cant see them turning things around on the road here.
Germany: taking a chance at this one
Bremen to win @+210 - another bottom of barrel matchup. both teams struggling mightily w/out their leading scorers from last year, but just rate Bremen the stronger side whom have had a pretty tough schedule to start the year with. Koln has conceded the most, Bremen has scored the fewest, sumthin' gotta give.
Norway:
Stabaek to win @+120, over 3 @+112
MLS: final wknd. thank god. FUN Parlay time again. (lets see if this works this side of the ocean) since I can only take 10 teams I gotta eliminate someone, so out goes NY/DC (meaningless for NY and DC has the worst offense).

Dog geez.... all 11 matches went over the 2.5 line. i guess that answers ur question. lol. i wonder what that wouldve paid out.
weird wknd in Serie A. that Juve match, was going exactly the way i thought it was (actually, worse). down a man, concede a goal 2 minutes after the restart to make it 2-2, then reel off 4 straight goals? you kidding me???
Milans mess is worse than i thought.
SPAL concedes in 1st minute, then dominates, yet cant score.
Torino: at home. 0 shots, 0 corners, 40-60 possession vs a Roma squad whom flew to England midweek. hello?????
went 3-3 in serie a hitting the bigger one so cant complain, the mls parlay put a nice end to the wknd.
another midweek round in serie a for a bunch of tired legs. should be interesting.
