Two years ago, Bayern was in the same situation. They got a draw in Basel and had a lot of pressure in their second match at home. Result: 7-0. Of course, Pep and the the team don't get tired to say how dangerous Shaktar is and that it's a do or die game for Bayern. But honestly, who thinks Shaktar can really give Bayern problems in their own stadium? I don't. I expect Bayern to show one of their best games today. Under pressure they work like machines.
I think Bayern will lead 1-0 or 2-0 at half and in the second half they score another two goals. Even if they score in the 70th minute, it's probable we see at least a 2-0 because Shaktar would have to open the gates and play offensive. Bayern-2 just looks too good. Any opinions? Can Shaktar give Bayern a fight?

Usually, I don't like 1h wagers. I rather give them 90 minutes to score their goals. Bayern should come out strong though. I think they go for an early goal but Bayern full game seems to be less risky. If they score in the first half, they will cover the -2 or at least push. If they score in the second half, you would still have chances to push or win but the first half wager would be lost. Just my two cents. It all depends on how early Bayern can score.

I really don't understand this line. Bayern in domestic league matches at home is usually a -2.5 favorite over most Bundesliga teams. And that's for an average match where Bayern's motivation might wane from time to time.
That's unlikely here in a UCL match. But the line is only -2. Is Shaktar much better than the average Bundesliga team? I mean, who's really betting on Shaktar at +2 at Bayern?

I would put them on the 4th to 7th place in the Bundesliga so theoretically the line is set like in the Bundesliga. Usually, Bayern is -1.5 or -2 against the teams like Gladbach, Augsburg, Schalke or Hoffenheim at home. Of course, Bayern will take this game really seriously, you're right. So why not a higher line?
I'm not sure. It's still CL and these teams played 0-0 in their last match. Yesterday Schalke killed the bettors, maybe Donezk will do the same today. Maybe book makers know more but I take Bayern-2 because I think the worst case will be a push. If Bayern scores 1-0 (whenever it is), Donezk will open up at least the last 10 minutes. And 10 minutes is enough for Bayern to score the 2-0. Thats the worst case I can imagine.

Good luck whater you choose.
Thanks. I agree with everything you say but bookies aren't in the business of freebies and they have to know the same thing as well. It just looks like they're begging for Munich $$. Who knows. I'll bite though.
