Hey guys - so I have a close buddy living down in Brazil for a couple of years . . . in order to access non-US-friendly offshore books (ie Pinny), is it simply a matter of him opening an account down there in my name and I fund it/operate it from here - or is it that my ISP will rat me out each time I try to access the offshore login?

Your IP is gonna rat you out. I tried it once and they caught me within 10 minutes. Sucks, cuz Pinny is a good site

Hey Dis,
I'm not an expert but the challenge would be getting funds to and from the account. Guessing you can't have funds sent to/from a U.S. bank account, or deposit with a credit card issued from a U.S. Bank. Pinny accepts Neteller which may work? I haven't used it before...
Accessing the account via a VPN would probably work but you might need to your friend to handle the deposits and withdrawals, and settle finances between the two of you.
