palestine got smoked by japan, but the disparity in talent shortens versus jordan. it shortens enough that something unexpected could happen (?). i'm not going to wax on about how palestine will create chances and dominate the game. they aren't. but a lucky bounce or two and they could be right in it. there is a lot at stake in this game for both sides, and agree with bomber that jordan is too short a price. they've scored 3 goals in their last 10 games, and haven't even won one in those last 10 (9L, 1D). expecting an error filled game by both sides and that alone could setup for an upset.

made a mess of that jordan / palestine game... don't ask a bad team to do something good, and palestine are a crap team
anyhow: aussie v s. korea
it's the 3rd game in the group, and there's no need to go all out, etc..well, the stadium will be packed and it's a once in a lifetime chance for home players to show up for their country. go look at the 3rd game in the group stage for the host nation in the last few WCs. they weren't bore draws.
s. korea is a top level team but they have looked off in both their games. there's a flu bug making the rounds and won't be surprised to see some of the stars rested again. these tourneys are all about who's got the hot hand now, not 2 years ago, etc. australia have scored 8 goals vs group teams. south korea managed 2. can't ignore that.

no opinion on the other game...
Hmm.. there are lots of Koreans here in Australia and I wouldn't be surprised if the stadium fills-up evenly with supporters for both countries - I wouldn't say Australia has a massive home ground advantage.
Korea played atrociously in the 2nd half of their last game and I'm sure it was a big wake-up call for them. A team of disciplined Asians won't take this game lightly. As you've mentioned, their 2nd game included 7 changes due to a virus (& injury) and at least 3 main players will be coming back again for the 3rd.
Australia will be fired-up and ready to play in their blue and yellow jerseys, but something tells me they will be off today.
I'm expecting a draw, but South Korea's $4.15 value bet is so tempting, might go with the Draw No Bet instead!

that china game was a major sweat... have to credit north korea for putting up a major scare... deserved a draw
iraq v palestine: it's pretty basic for iraq... win and the team advances. palestine have established themselves as the worst team in this tournament. it's been pretty much chaos in their own end when the other team has the ball. credit to them for getting here, but the standard of play is lacking. iraq isin't an attacking side, but they likely won't want to chance sitting on one goal, as they be eliminated on goal differential.
last few times these two hooked up hasn't been nice for palestine. the current situation calls for iraq to pull away, and is worth a punt

that might be worth a shot...but yes, i'd wait for a better price or even a over 2.00 line
japan can score, but there's no need for them to really push in this game.. on the flip side, jordan obviously wants goals, but can they break down the japanese defense?

china is making leaps and bounds in world football, but it's a case of two steps forward, one step back. it was alarming to see how they allowed north korea to dictate the 2nd half in their last match. they were pretty lucky to escape with a win, and if they lose today, it will be because of their defence.
australia has home field advantage and some of the better attacking options in this tournament. it's hard not to envision them scoring a few in this match, esp. if they field their regular lineup.

s. korea vs uzbekistan:
while south korea are deserving favourites here, i can't quite get behind this team. uzbeks can find the net, but they're facing a tough defence. it will be very difficult should they fall behind early. not sure about this one, and will likely pass
