Confederations Cup
Spain / Uruguay under 2.5 line can be found between [-130 ; -115]
España way of playing is under. You could see it with Spain U-20 if it wasn't for a couple of late minute goals. And you could see it with Spain A in the group qualifiers for 2014 WC.
It is like a Barça with less rythm and no Messi. They spend a hell lot of time with the ball in the midfield, trying to unbalance the defense by creating a "false rythm" (straight translation from french which means, a slow rythm before accelerating by surprise) and waiting for mistakes.
In the end, they got the ball 75% of the time but create few occasions, which means the ball is where we want it for our Under: in the midfield.
Concerning Uruguay, well, they aren't playing great football. The only problem for our bet, is... Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and Gaston Ramirez. The later is a great assistant (?) for two letal strikers.
Luckily Cavani doesn't seem to be on top form.
Also, I come back to speak of España style of play: they try to keep the ball without necesarily exposing themselves to counter attack (unlike Barcelona) so Cavani and Suarez won't have that much occasions.
My concerns:
-Luis Suarez
-Spain right and left fullbacks. Alba on the left, really offensive so opening space... and on the right wing, It won't be Arbeloa as usual, but Azpilicueta and he is a lot more offensive player which means he could open space for counter attacks.
-Valdes as goalkeeper...
