So far so good.  Last 2 days both winners and yesterday Spain 1:0 prediction was almost right on.

Today's game overview:

England were lucky to qualify from the first place in their group, therefore avoiding Spain in the quarter-finals. They played not very good in their last two games, but still managed to win them. Still, there is a feeling that this team can deliver and show a different game against a bigger opposition than Ukraine or Sweden. If England played Spain,Germany or Portugal in 1/4 i think they would have had not many chances to progress. But Italy is a good opponent for them, and I think England will progress here. First of all, Italy was playing really bad against Republic of Ireland, which was a crucial game for them, and scored second goal only in the dying minutes of the game. They also couldn't beat Croatia, and were lucky not to lose to Spain, as Fernando Torres missed great chances in the end of the game. England, on the other hand, were solid against France in their opening game and played really good in defence. For me England has a better squad, which is more capable of delivering on big stage than current Italian squad. Their best player in attack in this tournament is Andrea Pirlo who creates all chances. It will not be enough for this game and Italy will go home on Sunday.

Also, many people expect low scoring game, but my opinion is right the opposite. It will be no surprise if England scored an early goal thanks to Rooney or a shot outside the penalty area from Gerard. In that case Italy will be forced to attack. Even the Italian defenders will left open spaces and the fast forwards of England will take advantage of those opportunities. The opposite case is possible too, because England’s goalkeepers are not so sure in their abilities and make a lot os mistakes. In both occasions I think two goals will be the minimum in that match.

Prediction:  England 2:1 (meaning over 2 goals) and England to advance.

Good Luck!

hey man i may agree that england steps up and plays better against more of quality teams but ut quote on england did not play that good last 2 games and that theyplayed well against france...dude did you watch any of those games???/ england / france game was horrible... what england had 4 shots on goal the whole match...was disgusting to watch... gerard is a wanker, cant pass the ball... milner missed a wide open goal and is pathetic.. it was same old england ball.... the sweden game was the best game out of the whole tourney so far... how could u say they played lousy???? up tempo, fast, push the ball up field type of game.... theo walcott came in and gave them life along with carroll... great flick in for goal by welbeck.. the ukraine game was bloody painful to watch... ukraine should of won that game.. just didnt understand how carroll did not start or walcott after sweden game... if england has any chance to get through today they must sit milner and welbeck and play carroll up front with rooney... put speedy walcott in right mid and play up tempo...
