The high line on the Dutch -550 was because the only way you lose the bet is if Denmark won. Noone expected Denmark to win, as everyone assumed Dutch win or worst case a draw. If it was a draw the Dutch bettors would get their money back. The high juice is paying for protection in case of a draw because in normal bets a draw would be a loss for Dutch bettors. The problem here was that Denmark shockingly won and anyone who risked the extra juice got burned pretty badly |

it can be compared to a NHL bet just as easy for instance compare it to nhl regulation vs nhl regulation+ot
NHL REGULATION odds---if neither team wins in regulation the bet is a LOSS

NHL REGULATION + OT odds--its basically a money line bet, the team just has to win the game doesnt matter if its regulation or extra time

lets say Vancouver is -300 and Islanders are +180 on the MONEYLINE as in regulation+ot (has to just win game doesnt matter how/when)
The Regulation OT NOT INCLUDED would be roughly
Vancouver -145
Islanders +300
or whatever, but the point is, u get huge plus money if islanders win in regulation, and it gives u a shorter price on vancouver but they have to win in regulation

its called a Pick em bet fellas. You pick a team to WIN, a tie is a push. given the third potential outcome of the game is unavailable, higher lines are generated.
If you didn't know this, don't bet soccer. Save your money. |

I never realized so many degenerates on here who bet soccer has no clue to what a no draw no bet option is, and because of that was the reason for all the negative feedback. these clowns thought I was actually implying that the public was on denmark and totally regarded the key words in title thread "no draw no bet" because they were to clueless to what know that actually was and explaining it just unfortunately made everything even worse but thanks for reinterating to the idiots who couldnt catch on the 1st time |

5dimes is great book for those soccer betting options but some books like "sportsbook.ag" dont offer soccer spreads and only ML, the no draw no bet option and alternate lines its sucks they set it up like but sportsbook.ag sometimes offer better value than that at 5dimes and vice versa is why i use both
