Monday February 28th Pick

Last day of the month, spring is almost here  .I still need this play to put me to my goal of 20 Units per month...but if I don't get it, my excuse is that it was a short montIh . I have one pick for Monday which also makes it my play of the day;

1. Stoke ML or -0.5 v. West Brom @ 1.95 or -105 (ENG) 3 Units

There are plenty of previews of this match...just google it to find out the news. My reasoning is simple...West Brom who sit second last, 19th in the premier league have managed to draw 3 of the bottom teams at home West Ham, Wolves & Wigan 18, 17 & 20 respectively all in a row. If you can't win vs the bottom at home how can you vs. a mid league team away ??.West Brom have lost their past 7 away matches in all competition, scoring 1 goal while allowing 14. Stoke City have won 4 and tied 1 of their past 5 at home scoring 11 goals while allowing 3. In my opinion the odds here should be 1.50 to 1.55 or -200 -180 range.

FYI--- As a general rule beginning on March 1st when I look at the winter leagues( 85% of all leagues) I assign 10 imaginary points to what I like to call "despiration teams" that need any point they can get when capping games.

This is also true of the top tier of leagues, one has to be cognizant of who is gunning it for European spots. In this case I only assign 5 points
