1st...season predictions
champions Man Utd
Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City champions league
europa...Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool
Aston Villa, Fulham, Sunderland, Blackburn, Stoke, Bolton...
middle packers.
West Ham, Birmingham, Wolves, Newcastle..should survive
Blackpool, West Brom and Wigan down.
Man City/Spurs. probably tight early season match. I'd like to watch City play a few weeks to see what kind of a line up they use and how they gel. spurs have won 11 of 12 in league vs City.
Villa/West Ham hard to tell how villa will respond to events of last week. hammers have terrible record at villa park, action has been one-sided on hammers. so Villa may be a look at evens.
blackburn/everton. toffees 2-4-0 in last 6 at ewood. everton have started slow last few yrs. I expect these 2 teams to kick the crap out of each other to a tie. rovers only lost 3 times at home last year.
bolton/fulham. lots of people like fulham but they have won only 7 times on the road...in the last 3 yrs. bolton will be better and I liked their off season signings, Coyle will make them better. bolton to win 2.2
sunderland/birmingham. black cats are very good at home and should win but I kinda like the under here. blues needed to add to squad but didn't, think they will slide.
wigan/blackpool. don't trust wigan, they can look great and garbage from week to week. maybe they have a "fix" problem, who knows. these teams that come up can surprise early in the season.
wolves/stoke. should both grind their way to safety this yr. low scoring under looks like the best bet. hunt and fletcher should add some nice attack options for wolves.
chelsea/west brom. wonder if chelski backbone is getting alittle old and will come up abit short this yr. preseason has not been great. only beat hull 2-1 in opener last yr with late drogba goal. teabaggies hopefully go down for good this yr.
liverpool/arsenal. very interesting early match. pool look reenergized under woy. think this could be match of weekend and like the over 2.5
Man utd/newcastle. utd have looked very sharp and hungry in preseason, newcastle are good enough to survive. they haven't won at utd since 1972. like utd both on the over and by -1.5
gl this yr guys.
