Question

IMO, has been THE most impressive player in this year&#x27;s World Cup. I honestly feel that he does more for his team than ANY other player does for theirs.  Part of this may be due to the fact that I had not even heard of him entering this World Cup, but I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him play and feel he is easily one of the best in the world.

I think Xavi is equally as important to his team and as impressive as Forlan was this WC.

&#xD;&#xA;Agree that Xavi may have been equally as impressive (though I still give the slight edge to Forlan), but I really think Forlan&#x27;s value to his team is MUCH higher than Xavi&#x27;s to Spain.

I agree. Sure Villa have done some amazing things himself, but he didn't have any other guy up front for Spain that could do it. So he kinda had to.
But let's not forget about Sneijder either, or Muller who has been involved in almost every single goal Germany scoredl But Forlan has scored lots of goals, most of them from outside of the box either on free kick or on some insane shots, volleys, long shots, and he's even shared the scoring with Suarez. Just incredible. I've loved watching this guy and bet on him to score in La Liga for 2 seasons straight, only weak season was this season but Atlético as a team was struggling.

Diego Forlan has really opened my eyes even more, and he's showing off as a superstar in this world cup.

He was by far and away the most consistent, most entertaining, and most crucial to his teams success. I would have no problem w/ him winning MVP of this WC over Villa, Xavi, or Sneijder. It would almost be a shame if he doesn&#x27;t he was that amazing.

I remember watching him in his Man U days and thinking this guy is a pretty ordinary player.

He has definitely grown since then and was just masterful in the world Cup.. He sure earned himself a good contract

Are you serious you think Xavi has been just as impressive i think Iniesta has been Spains best midfielder throughout the world cup and he will shine in the Final i believe. Spains best player has been David Villa just because of his goals and that is why Spain are in the Final
