Maybe intelligence has something to do with this equation of drug usage+getting caught. Its cant be all racism. Thats just not possible.

It could be a culture thing.

Rolling around and smoking blunts is part of black culture, whereas, whites typically like to smoke pipes and bongs indoors.

Oh, how about, just not doing drugs then, epecially if you are a minority and odds are higher you may be caught?   Wouldn't that be the bright thing to do?  Just stop being the victim. That would be too simple, and would deny scatatattle a reason to rant, rave, insinuate, call names, and generally get his jollies over perceived racism.  Yes, it is unfair.  But....then as a black race, come together and change the perception, like Bill Cosby has said on THREE different ocassions.   But that would be a solution, and then Scatatattle and minorities wouldn't be able to girl about discrimination.  Unbelievable.  Folks, there you have it.  You can't make this stuff up!   Now go ahead and respond like you always do....here he goes again folks!   I am not visiting this thread again.  Frankly, you need help, and you are just not worth it.     

You have to have a product people want in order to sell it. Whining and pointing the finger at someone else can be had for free. If what you were spewing was true, it would sell itself. However, anyone that has actually been in the real world simply laughs at you.

Have you admitted yet that there is more crime in the projects, which are predominately black?

First off, blacks use marijuana at a slightly higher rate and Secondly, they get caught and arrested more because they are not only using it and selling it, but also have a Don't give a crap mentality because they feel that they are above the law for something that happened 200 years before they were born.

Personally, I am more concerned about the ridiculous violent crime ratio than a marijuana usage one.

Gotta side with Scal on this. Facts are facts and I'll provide sources in a bit, but blacks only make up about 30% of the illicit drug users but represent over 50% of the people in prison for drug offences.

Blacks in poorer neighborhoods are targeted while the whites doing the same thing in their family neighborhoods are not bothered.

I never realized how fückin cruel our system is until I looked into it, and I know I've ranted about this before. People are still getting their kids taken away from them for growing marijuana plants when they have a license to do so for medical purposes (see Daisy Bram). Kids' lives are ruined every day because they get denied school loans. The drug testing industry is fueled by greed and power, and an applicant won't get the job to feed his family because he smoked a joint last weekend and a surprise interview came up. Meanwhile his neighbor has a great job and he drinks every day and beats his wife on a daily basis. The fact that the government tells us what we can and cannot injest with our own bodies is as absurd as anything that has ever existed.

The drug has never worked and in fact kills more people than the drugs themselves. But hey... when we have people making money off of people going to prison, why not throw everybody in prison?

Bill also made some great points. The blacks in the inner city are simply surrounded by law enforcement all the time. This of course leads to the disproportionate numbers.

truer words on this subject may never have been spoken. 

one exception to that is meth.  the police, at least in some parts of the country, do go after meth labs, but not nearly to the extent police will hang around black neighborhoods looking to make drug arrests. 

but meth is a white man's drug.  in my life, i've only seen one black guy arrested on meth charges.  and everyone in the courtroom was making fun of him.  you know you're the odd man out when chil molesters are making fn of you because you're the black guy arrested for meth and everyone else is on the child molesters' side. 

The amount of people who seem to be able to look at his as a black and white issue (pun intended) blows my mind.  To blame this phenomena completely on racism is to be simple minded.  To say racism isn't a part of it is to bury your head in the and.  

I will also throw in the fact that I sometimes speed.  There are certain parts I frequent where I KNOW cops hang out a LOT.  Do I adjust my behavior?  Dang right I do.
