Gonna be at Mandalay on friday, unfortunately with the girl friend so gambling time will be limited. Gonna have to pull an all nighter at the poker tables while she is sleeping.
If you are a gambler why wouldn't you go to Vegas?

The weather is always fantastic , the food is great with incredible choices, the shows , and for myself the sports books are a safe haven for the most part - Vegas rules, tell em nc1 sent ya

I'm also an avid golfer (please don't confuse avid with good). I've only been to Vegas once. It was a few years ago and I didn't schedule ahead to hit the links. Next time I go, which will be soon, you better believe I'm bringing my clubs.
There are numerous courses in a small radius. I live in the deep south where all of the courses are relatively flat. Many of the Vegas courses are carved between desert mountains. The two I have in mind are Cascata and Aliante. And if I choose to travel about 100 miles east Wolf Creek awaits, one of the best public courses in the country.

On a similar note, I was tossed from a Luxor table at 10 a.m. once for being too drunk, I started drinking around 5 or 6 a.m. that day. Never thought that would happen. They tossed me when I sucked out on some guy and gave him his $30 or $40 back.

sucked out? Yea, getting tossed from a table is a pretty big feat haha. I've been cut off a few times, but that was with almost an 8 hr drinking binge and still got the cocktail waitress to hit me up on the machines aslong as the pit boss didn't see I was good haha.

I was tossed from the Aria poker room and escorted back to my room there by 6 security guards during a bachelor party one night about 3 years ago. White Russians over a long span just get me excited for some reason.
Some old guy at an adjacent table to ours called floor on me after I mildly celebrated a pot. I was astounded because there was another table adjacent to ours that had a significant amount of money on it and no one over the age of 30 playing. These guys were loud and dropping f-bombs on dealers for not dealing them cards when they went to the bathroom and any other small infraction the dealer may have committed. Floor let them do whatever they wanted, no f-bomb warnings or sticking up for the dealer. It got to the point where most of my table wasn't even playing our game, as much as watching them play theirs.
I guess me giving a mild cheer really pissed this old guy off but the f-bombs within his ear shot had no effect on him. Anyways, floor tells me to calm down and I oblige....for a minute, then when floor was 10 feet away from me, I looked right at the older gentlemen that complained about me and cheered very loudly for no reason other than to piss him off. Floor asked me to leave and I started saying some not so kind words to him on my way out.
Fun times! I love Vegas!

The store had these long steel rods with locks blocking people from opening the cooler doors. We asked the clerk what the deal was. She said you guys must be from New Orleans.
We didn't realize in most places you can't buy alcohol on Sunday.

nightlife, partying, food..i have a casino 20 minutes away and can use pinnacle to wager at home so for the most part i dont gamble too much in vegas, although ill still hit up the sportsbooks to put in a few bets
