For some reason I can't stop thinking what the last second, the last minute,last hour,last day will be like before you die.. For me I am hoping I kick it 62 years from now when i'm 101 with my 67 year old third wife in my sleep from a heart attack... Did you know the life expecatancy for somebody born today is close to a 100 years old and according to some doctors they expect somebody to actually live to see 150. That is just mind boggling!!

They say people who obsess over their own death tend to die much sooner... You might want to make sure your affairs are in order before it is too late... If there is anything you ever really wanted to do, studies suggest you do it... quickly...
It might not be a bad idea to go ahead and pick out and pay for a coffin, pay off the burial plot, and make sure your life insurance is up to date. Also, if you want to write any letters to be delivered after your death to loved ones and friends, finish them up this week.
Don't forget to leave a spare set of keys labeled as to what they unlock and any username and passwords that will be need to settle your estate.
Then all you have to do is sit back and wait...

I feel like the day I was 39. I am still married, and to my same wife for 48 years. I'm 5' 10" and weight 200 lbs. When I was 65 I went to a new doctor, I don't go much because I don't trust ALL of them. Anyway, when he first saw me and opened my chart he said. wow ! you certainly don't look 65.
My old doctor tried to put me on Lipitor and a few other drugs 10 years ago..I was only there because I had a cold. I just tore up the prescription when I left. He always tried to insist that I go for a colonoscopy. I said to myself No way Jose.
My brother's doctor told him that he needed to go for a colonoscopy too when he was 58 years old, and smoked all his life. I said, Bro, tell that doctor that he is looking in the wrong hole !
Joepa10, don't worry about dying, it happens to the best of us. Just live your life as this is your last year on earth. Life is so beautiful. I'm thankful every day just to have been put here.

Good thread. I often think about this topic when I first wake up in the morning for some reason. I think to myself about what is going to happen after I die. If I die in my sleep will there be an after life? I really can't explain it but it's just a wired feeling that I get.

I am exactly the same way.. Since this is a gambling forum I put afterlife at minus 125 and no afterlife at plus 105.. It used to be minus 110 both ways until my mom told me the story of how she held her mothers hand as she passed away and her last words after not communicating or talking for a long time were "Its my mother" and then flatlined.. Made me think.
