Seven yr old holds a pencil "like a gun", gets suspended

What we need to do I guess is make the following laws for all students across the country...

1) The pronunciation of the word "gun" will result in suspension
2) Any shirt worn with an image of a gun will result in suspension
3) Any shirt/hat/coat with NRA on it will result in suspension
4) Any object held like a gun will result in suspension
5) Use of any of the following words will result in suspension: bullet, ammunition, trigger, barrel, chamber, jacket, loaded magazine, hunt, shoot, rifle, shotgun, pistol. Also any form of the above words will not be tolerated.
6) If you are caught with any media publication related to guns, you will be suspended

Honestly people... this is fückin ridiculous. How are you gonna suspend a 7 yr old for holding a pencil like a gun and making gun noises? What the fück?

What happened to the ability to reason and think rationally? Is it gone? Will it ever come back? I don't think it ever will. I think we're fûcked and it's because there are clearly too many idiots in this country. Okay we're probably not fûcked but good God... somebody please fire these idiots in our school system.

If you do, say, wear, or think anything that has anything to do with guns or anything related to guns, you will be suspended.

That should do it.

while I agree with your sentiment that this seems extreme, I am wondering why this is today...

in our day as children this wasnt an issue.. 

just a few years ago this was not an issue...

Why is it an issue now?

     I get it.

     It's an issue because we've had some school shootings, and there are people in the school system (amazingly) that believe that the answer is to suspend a 7 year old and create a record for him if he holds a pencil like a gun and makes shooting noises.  Nevermind that this type of thing happens every day.  Kids like "make believing".  The fact is, any reasonable intelligent adult realizes that this is normal behavior from a child. 

     Should his parents discipline him if he shoots a squirt gun at his big brother?

     I just have no tolerance for stupidity.  They are O-V-E-R-R-E-A-C-T-I-N-G.  Whatever... it's really no big deal but I just wanted to post my opinion.

     The sad thing is that man goes to war, and then a child emulates the actions just playing around, and gets punished.  He is simply a product of the environment we created.

This is the Progressive Teacher's Union and the Office of Education working on the minds of the young/stupid to make any reference to firearms an act of terrorism despite the 2nd Amendment. This is a long-range plan and will make the assult on the 2nd easier with Progressives in congress and a complient Mediaista. We may live to see an America where (spelling correct-see what comes out)  gun=person.

I think we need to go to war with the big toy companies.

Kids forever have gotten plastic replica rifles, pistols, knives, etc.

We are making killing a play time joy by making guns fun to kids.

We also need to take the imaginations away from kids......There has to be some machine we can hook 'em up to

We have to prevent the toy companies from producing replica weapons to end our kids playing war in their minds. 



Kids making the sound "pew pew pew" if they have one eye open holding a pencil parallel is the first sign of a killer with bad intentions.

I am glad this monster was stopped and no kids in that class got dealt with

Political correctness is an ultimate cancer on society.  It is more destructive than greed.  A product of the the left that has grown into an absolute acceptable ridiculousness.

Its a big world out there, Im sure there are some dumb behind kids with dumb behind parents who find themselves in these types of situations.

There are also dumb behind teachers and adminstrators
