veteren needs a bus ticket to south dakota

it's that time a year when it's so nice out and signs like this one are seen. sometimes I think they might be under cover cops. it's the same sign same location every year. different guy. I'm sure there's more people out there holding up signs and there not homeless or a veteran at all. I think it's to deter people who are homeless or in need of money to hold up the signs because they really need help.

Once here in Las Vergas I encountered a person with a sign stating he was a veteran and needed help, I chatted with him a moment since I am one as well and asked him if he was aware of the programs available in our area for us to which he replied "yes I am" so then I ask him if he has a Veteran's ID card that they use for identification when you go to any VA authorized place (hospital, shelter program, or for other services) he showed me this card and the name on the card did not match the one he gave me as to who he was.

People that try and de-fraud people in this manner really sets me off! I snatched the card and walked away.

Jesus, you people make me sick. If you don't like America get out. He served our country without asking for praise and you sit here on your high horse and can't even buy a simple bus ticket. Who would lie to go to South Dakota? You are one sick individual.

Always be wary of anyone on the streets asking for money, sorry but thats the world that we love in now.  It has been shown people will make up fake illnesses, scam the elderly and young.

Read this in Dear Abby " Wife Pissed At Husband"  The husband always wore his Vietnam Veteran's hat, and would ask for a veterans discount where ever they went,  The only problem is he never served a day in the military.  SCAMS EVERYWHERE, BEWARE!!!
