To me the fact that no one has laid claim to the Boston Marathon Bombing is scary. And very smart on the part of the organization that is responsible for the bombing. I do realize the US government might know what organization is responsible, but I doubt US government does. There are too many politicians that are glory person to not run to the media at the suggestion a specific organization is responsible.
The longer it takes to identify what organization did the bombing the farther away the operatives who were not killed to guaranteed silence will get.
I am sure someone will come forward and lay claim, but in the mean time rampant rumor and speculation can be an ally to terrorist.
Darkness is a very scary place and the absence of knowledge is darkness...

You're already assuming it was carried out by an "organization." The odds are just as good it was done by a disgruntled sociopath who just got kicked out of MIT.

Granted...
And if it were one bomb verses four bombs I would actually say the odds of it being a single sociopath were better than the work of an organization.
I do not remember anytime a single bomber working alone placed four bombs at one time. Not impossible but not something I have read about before.

And in typical Getty style, he is already absolving the bomber of his a 'sane' action by painting him as disgruntled with mental issues if it is a domestic bomber like McVeigh, BUT if it is a Middle Easterner, who is par of a terrorist organization, citizen, or nationalist, I can assure you Getty will hold them responsible to the last neuron that fires between a synapse for every second of premeditated action.
Surprised? You shouldn't be...

scalabrine,
Who do you think did it? I would seriously like you perspective. Individual or group/organization? Considering there are no takers for responsibility, as far as I know, you are just as right as the rest of us.

That pic with all the arrows is interesting because it shows the two men in the same black coat, same beige pants and same Timberland type boots, both on phones.
Dead giveaway of orderly/planned buying of materials and even clothes in bulk.

The guy just got half his azz blown off and is running around in shock. Yeah, great work Sherlock Holmes, go get your suspect at the hospital. He's the one picking shrapnel out of his diick and trying to find his balls.

Which brings us to the REAL issue. In the wrong hands pressure cookers can be dangerous, and we as a society simply cannot afford to have pressure cookers out there that are completely uncontrolled. We are talking about some common sense laws. Most people do not need high capacity pressure cookers. Limiting pressure cookers to a quart will make society safer.
In addition, with all the documented instances of pressure cookers being used to construct explosive devices, and due to the numbers of killed and injured, two things are clear: pressure cookers are lethal and we are in the midst of a pressure cooker violence epidemic. There is no need for pressure cooker nuts to run around with their pressure cookers without any regulation and oversight. Mandatory mental health evaluations and federal background checks will help to ensure that a pressure cooker doesn't fall in the wrong hands. Should people convicted of felonies and domestic violence misdemeanors be banned from owning pressure cookers? ABSOLUTELY! Even if it saves just one life, it's worth it.

Not sure what you're talking about. White privilege is given at the time of booking by the cops or in that case no booking for a man they documented as white...doesn't sound like jumping the gun to me.

Seriously, who cooks in their residence with these things anymore? Anyone? Really? One person in a forum of 10's of thousands?
Who wants to leave this thing on when you leave the house for work. All those hours? Surprised they are still sold in 2013.

You're either being facetious or dumb. Pressure cookers reduce cooking times by up to 70%. Pressure cooker does not equal slow cooker. No one starts their pressure cooker and goes to work.
