When is enough, enough? As Americans. As Humans. When is enough, enough? I sit and here and think why. Why is it that tragedy attacks us more and more. I can't help but to think back to 9/11 and how I felt that day. Today, I feel much the same.
Innocent humans have to die because someone or some group wants to prove a point? How much longer do " we " have to live this way? Why is it that sons, daughters, mothers and fathers have to be taken away because of senseless hate and horrible pride? I think about my kids and wife. I think about how broken some people must feel when tragedy knocks on their door like this. Years ago before kids and family I thought to myself, man, I feel bad for these folks. But now, I feel broken too. My heart hurts differently now that I understand just how precious life is.
More importantly, I think " we " as people have just simply forgotten how to treat each other. I know it sounds corny to some but here in the South we take pride in the simple things of life. How to talk to each other, how to open the door behind you when someone else is walking through, or even simply just say hi, and ask how someone is doing. The Simple things in life has changed us and hardened our hearts. It has turned us into a nation or nations of people who only want to carry out there own agendas and beliefs. We have taught our young to hate and disregard what others care about or cherish. I wish somehow some way we could change and go back to before when the things of life mattered and the quality meant the most.
Hate and pride is destroying not just our country, but our planet. If we can't learn to change there will be no hope. I think it's time we put down our guards and say enough is enough. I know some people say change like that isn't possible and to an extent I understand. But it takes one person, one at a time to say, enough is enough. Sorry for the rant, but I feel something needs to be said.
To any of the family's and victims of the recent horror that has attacked our country in recent years.

French to the Freedom fighter in Syria ... try it ... it's a very difficult task, cause then you'd have to do hours and hours of research. Trying to figure out the typical Frenchman, their culture, their economic status, their language ... it's not an easy task and I'd imagine their culture is much closer than ours compared to the Freedom fighter in Syria ... but until you try to do this, i think your question is just not worth attempting to answer
