  Scalabrine is making blanket statements about people in this thread who were not offensive in any way whatsoever.

I'm going to focus more on the child than on the mother.

I predict that baby's fate has been sealed unless he is taken away from that mother. And when I say mother it isn't the biological term.

I asked Scal in another thread yesterday what we could do to make things better. Something tangible. Not some cliche like "eracism." Unless I overlooked it he never answered. The best thing to do would be for a middle class family to adopt this child and get it out of that environment. Of course, there are so many of these examples throughout the country that "rescuing" them while young would be impossible.

If I were wealthy enough I would do exactly that. Adopt inner city children. Raise them with love instead of what you just seen. Get them an education. They will grow up to be successful.

The cycle will probably continue with the next batch starting fights on buses, having more illegitimate kids, with their lives ending early or in prison.

Notice, not once, did I say the govt should step in. They would make no difference. They might F*CK things up even more. It takes charity.

The cycle continues because the government steps in with welfare for these lazy, useless mothers like her at the expense of the middle class.  Charities are PART of the solution, NOT government intervention.

Is she a hero to you? Do you admire and applaud her actions? Why do you hate those those that would condemn her actions, the throwing of her child, as wrong?

Why would I address the video when the OP made a post, not to disparage that mother in particular, but ALL black mothers?

The onus is on him when he makes a post like this and I called him out for that and that alone.

Try to understand what the issues are and what an OP is responsible for when making a post.

The majority of the people here would condemn her actions without regard to race. You on the other hand cannot condemn her actions because of her race...

I would consider her a waste of oxygen especially if she were white and be even more offended that she was ever born.

You see a victim of a racist society that should be compensated for all she has suffered through.

Race should never be used as an excuse for behavior...

I don't have to condemn her actions because that wasn't the point of what I wrote. Why would you demand another person to do anything you tell them to, least of all, in an internet thread? We live in a free democracy. I don't have to answer to you. Everyone who comes in this thread answers to you?

I can however challenge the OP since he created a thread for discussion. That was his sole purpose. That is a function of a thread, that is, for commentary.

Reflect on that a bit and get back to me before you go on your 'oft-used never proved' race/victim/compensation blather.
