If you watch the vid, fast forward to 9:30 to see what I'm talking about. They call it "stop and frisk". If you're black or Hispanic, don't go to NYC unless you want illegally searched every time you walk down the street. This is insane. They stop you and go through your pockets if you're WALKING DOWN THE STREET. This has nothing to do with marijuana possession even that is the focus of the vid. How the Hell do they stop people randomly and search them?

I had my doubts... now I KNOW this isn't a free country.

Perhaps the purported "stop and frisk" is a small price to pay for getting priority placement on jobs, college admissions, and political appointments. It's insane how underqualified you can be if your skin is the right hue.

You watch a Youtube video put up by some pothead with 420 in his screenname and take as fact the drivel he announces. Has anyone ever explained that you might be a tad gullible?

There are laws about illegal searches without probable cause. If this were fact I'm pretty sure it would have hit the (real) news.

You call me gullible yet you believe these illegal search and siezure pracices don't happen because it would be in the news if it did. Wow. I'm not sure where to start but I'm gonna give this a shot.

1) So you don't think this has been "in the news"? No news media has ever reported this? What do you think this documentary is?
2) So you think cops don't ever conduct illegal search and seizures?
3) So do you think this video is fake and that all the people in it are lying?

I'm a bit confused but hey... I am a gullible pot head. Please enlighten me with your vast and superior knowledge on this subject.

Hey steel not for nothing but most the cops on the NYC force are black and hispanic anyways, I think stop and frisk is a good thing because theres to many thugs walking around thinking they are untouchable

Stop and frisk was ruled unconstitutional a week ago by a federal judge.

Zman... stop and frisk is not a good thing. It's unconstitutional. What if you were stopped and frisked every day while walking down the street? And your wife? And your kids?

We can't simply stop and frisk people based on the way they dress or the way they wear their hair or the way they walk. This is supposed to be a free country. Random search and seizures violate everything our constitution stands for.

To be free and to have freedom do not include being stopped by cops and asked to empty your pockets because you "looked suspicious".
