No doubt that he&#39;s an intelligent person but geez... he said this morning than &quot;chemo is probably more toxic than cannabis&quot;.Chemotherapy basically kills every cell in the targeted area.  It can also make you deaf.  It makes you lose your hair permanently.  And I&#39;m not sure but I believe it destroys vital organs in many cases.  Oh I almost forgot... it can give you cancer, which is the very thing you&#39;re trying to defeat.Saying that chemo is probably more toxic than cannabis is the same as saying that drinking gasoline might do more damage than smoking cannabis.  It just amazes me how some people are so reluctant to recognize the benefits of this plant after so many decades of proof.  It&#39;s no wonder it&#39;s illegal almost everywhere in the world.  That is changing thank God.  More and more people are waking up to the truth.

Serious questionWhat medicinal effects does cannabis have?I know I can use the google on the internet machine but wondering from people&#x27;s personal perspective.Disclaimer: I personally don&#x27;t smoke weed but I am for legalization and people&#x27;s right to do what they want with their bodies. Nut Flopper... that&#39;s a valid question.  Dr. Tod Mikuriya, now deceased, made a list of 259 illnesses and diseases that Cannabis can cure, prevent, or treat.  People most often site loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, sleeplessness, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.  Others are migraines, inflammation, Chrone&#39;s disease, wasting syndrome...     I actually believe it&#39;s a crime against mankind that hemp oil is not in every medicine cabinet across the world.  Do a google search for the uses of hemp oil as medicine... it will blow your mind.     The CNN story cited a 7 year old girl using Cannabis to help with her pain associated with leukemia.  There is also some speculation from some of her relatives that the Cannabis may have CURED her leukemia.  In fact, if you do enough digging, you can find dozens if not hundreds of stories like this.  And the side effects?  Euphoria (it makes you feel good), hunger, increased heart rate (this happens during exercise too), and sometimes drowsiness.       If you want to shoot me an email I can send you dozens of links that will make for some good reading.  It is shocking what people don&#39;t know, and how so many suffer needlessly because of it.  Many thanks to our government and Big Pharma.

Speaking from experience, yes chemo is def more toxic than cannabis. It is amazing that w/ all this $ donated to "cancer" research that this is the best thing the medical community has to offer.

Chemotherapy isn&#x27;t necessarily the "best" thing the medical community has to offer -- there are many, many different cancer treatment methods, with chemotherapy just being one of them.

Since the mid 1960&#x27;s when chemo was first initiated in the U.S., there have been no improvements regarding type of "therapy." Chemo is a 400-500 billion dollar industry for the Govt&#x27;s pocket as well as kickbacks for the FDA. This whole scam is fukking disgusting.

The whole thing disgusts me to no end.  Since 1944 when the ACS was founded, we have made NO progress in the fight against cancer.  NONE.  Someone that died of cancer in 1944 would have the same chance of living with our medicine today.  The term "cancer research" is an oxymoron.  And how much has that company made in the last 60 years?  I just found their PDF of their financial statement online.  They raised over 94 million in 2010.  The entry is "Total Public Support and Other Revenue".  At the top it reads "Your Dollars at Work".  &#xD;&#xA;It is said that one out of three women either have cancer or will get it.  Men?  One out of two.  Murder is not illegal if you make money doing it.
