Where would you go and what would you like to see?
1) I'll go with 1st century Rome under that lunatic Julias Caesar. Not to see him but the weekend grand opening events in his new Coliseum. ![]()

That would still leave more questions unanswered than answered. and would not tell you who conspired to have Kennedy killed. It would just show you if someone besides Oswald was a patsy.

I've been around the world twice and seen more than most people even dream about. I think I'd like to just hang around and see what's next in this crazy world.
All in All, Life's been good to me, So here's to Tomorrrow![]()

I would go back to the days after PSA Flight 1771 which crashed near San Luis Obispo, California on December 7th, 1987 after a fired US Air ramp agent used ID he hadn't turned in to bypass security, bring a gun onto the aircraft and shoot the crew in a murder-suicide hijacking.
after that incident, their were many airline pilots, including myself, that argued for going back to when pilots were REQUIRED to be armed to "guard the mail" like they were thru the mid 1950's so they could protect the cockpit from a murderous hijacker. then Secretary of Transportation, Elizabeth Dole and airline managements rejected the idea as "foolish and unnecessary"
imagine IF the airline industry HAD adopted that very reasonable change in rules allowing for pilots to defend the cockpit and their aircraft from a hijacker bent on suicide? 9-11 would have never happened. it would have been "I will SEE your boxcutters and RAISE you a Glock 9MM". 9-11 would have just been just a news story instead of the 21st Century "Pearl Harbour" it became.
wish we had fought harder to change the rules up to and including an "SOS" (Suspension of Service) until it was agreed to. American history would be completely different. ![]()
