That stress is no fun because it is just a matter of time till that shit happens I hate to say.
Keep it simple.
Thanks Salty. I almost feel honored having you comment in my thread...almost. LOL! I am a very disciplined gambler. Meaning I only bet a few NFL/ NCAA games a week. And to be honest, I usually take game Team Totals over if I see a very good offense up against a weaker defense. Also, with my second bookie, I am able to bet 2nd half TT over so I can get a read on the offenses in game. My first book does NOT allow me to wager on those.
With a $2,000.00 settling point, I can pick & choose ALL wagers that interest me without feeling the pressure of going for 2G's or chasing. My goal is $2,000.00 between both books every week. If I fall short on Sunday I can choose 1 or 2 games the following week to go over 2G'S. Once I am over that threshold, I have no problem laying off ( I'm not greedy). Worked like a charm last year, but I don't have UH, Ok St, Oregon etc this year to lock those in w confidence.
I will wait until week 2-3 to find out which offenses are clicking at a high rate & lock in on those. So far USC, Ohio St., GB, New Orleans, Detroit, West Virginia & others I will ride after a few games of familia rarity ( weird word ).
One thing I do want to pass along to everyone are the benefit of Team Totals over. They hit at an amazing rate if you pick the right games. Forget the spread & do some research on TT's. Monday Night Football has a high rate of overs if the right offense is on the field. Sometimes taking both teams TT over hits in the same game. I know just taking the game total over is easier, but I like 1 team to flourish offensively & the other team to play right along in a high scoring game.
Maybe I should move this thread over to NFL & NCAA football forums. Got off topic. Sorry.
Oh, if you can bet on 2nd half TT with a New Orleans, GB, Detroit etc, you can get some pretty good odds & you have the first half to check out the offenses productivity. If they have a slow first half, they usually explode in the 2nd half. Usually, not always, but you can decide after following the 1st half.
Long winded MoFo. I'm done.
