‘Sic Her:’ Man, Dog Attack Bride At Denver Wedding

Crazy:

A man is on the run from police and a dog is under quarantine at the Denver Animal Shelter after a shocking attack at a wedding party last weekend.

So far it’s not clear why the man police say is Joel Neveraz, a wedding guest, encouraged his pit bull to attack the bride and also attacked the woman himself.

“He said ‘Sic her. Sic her, Skylo,’

he shouldn't have made it so obvious.  he should have trained the dog to attack when he said "i do".

I bring my pit bull, King, to weddings all the time. 
He never gets violent. 
Unless you call humping the bride's grandmother's leg violent.

Gun carry is solid but mostCCL holders and users have no serious training on how to react to situations....none. Not a bad thing at all of course - just no ability to assess quickly.

pit bulls get a bad rep. If you've had one and wrestled the fucker you know what to expect. They aren't worth getting worked up over. Big box cats for the most part. That video where the nypd shot the dog was disgusting. Not that hard to subdue a 70 lb dog without killing it imo

so you could subdue a 70#+ pit that was coming after you without a firearm?  Sorry if i misunderstood you, but if not, my money is on the pit all day.  Maybe you could subdue your own dog, but a random dog that doesn't know you would tear you apart

most of those fuckers are solid muscle, and you might get lucky, but you'd come out tore the fuck up
but if the dog is scared or defending the owner you'd have to kill it before it quit attacking/fighting

ive been around all types of dogs my whole life. Big german shepherds, rotts, pitts, etc. if you are a big guy its not that hard to wrangle them and put them in some type of choke hold. Sure, you'll probably have some scrapes and few bite marks in the process but it's a better option than killing some innocent dog who was confused as fuck just trying to help is owner. Dogs are good at sensing fear/agression/ etc and if you walk up to it calm as can be you can usually relax them

unless it's a dog specifically trained to attack people. Like a police dog german shepherd. Those would not be fun to deal with. But if it,s just some random dog that's confused i think you can come up with a better option than putting a bullet in its head

i know i'm 225# and in above avg shape, and i want no part of a pissed of German Shepherd or Pit or Rotty.

I've always had dogs but no thanks, my own dog(s)...sure, but a strangers, no thanks

i have friends with police dogs (G.Shepherds, Belgian Mallois) and i sure as fuck want no part of them

and i have been around pits and rottys on chains hooked to trees and i thought they were gonna pull the fucking tree down to get to me, so i'll give the edge to them.

you may know a few more tricks than me, but as far a big ass dog with sharp ass teeth and claws, i know i'd prob have to shoot the dog as well if it were coming at me.

and if you had a pit charging you and you know he would soon be biting at your neck and clawing your face and you had a gun...you wouldn't pull the trigger???

I have friends with rots, no pits so i can't speak of them, but the rots are some of the best dogs.  I know it all has to do with upbringing and how you raise them, but some dogs, just like humans, are fucked from the get go.

I like going home to my family

There is a reason the police often (wrong IMO) shoot dogs.

You are nuts to think you would do well against an angry Pitt bull. Not to say you coudn't survive, but you are going to literally have to gouge its eyes out or choke it to death.

There is no way, no way, I want try and wrestle a dog to the ground. If it were attacking my family or as a last resort, but you will be in a world of hurt.
