I was washing my hands a few minutes ago. After turning off the faucet, I looked up into the mirror and just stared at my eyes. Suddenly, I felt as though I wasn't looking at myself. I felt I as though I was looking through myself. Everything felt surreal, as though I wasn't actually there.
This has happened to once in a while. It doesn't happen all the time. It's something I can't quite explain.
It's not induced by drugs or drinking. It's just a moment of...
complete and overwhelming confusion. As though you have to remind yourself of where you are and who you are.
Fuckin Eh!

I thought I was the only psychopath this happened too...glad to see I'm not alone. I know exactly what you're talking about bro. It's almost like an out of body experience or something, but not quite. Nothing to do with drugs either. It just strikes all the sudden and you're like "whoa, what is THIS??" I think what it is is a moment of hyper-clarity, like all the noise of the day fades away and you're left with just 'you.' Like you're stopping to see you for who you really are. Probably happens because 99% of the time we're all dealing with the distractions of life.
