Yet another example of everyday Americans embracing capital punishment practices of the most backwards parts of the Middle East.

Yes, slay the molester.

The father has the right to play the judge, jury and executioner in this case.

And who's story prevails?

The same as always. The only man left alive to tell it. Reminds me of another case I know...

Yet these very same people will put their hand over their heart and lip-sync the words to "God Bless America" and praise its freedoms and rights, one of which is the right to a trial by jury.

But forget those rights when the chest-thumpers in this thread say so!!!

That girl MUST FRY AND DIE!!!!

It's remarkable really. And it's all in the name of 'their' tax dollars as the justice system, although imperfect and at times laughable, plays itself out. Too much of 'my' money being spent on 'justice' when it can play itself out quickly with a bullet or a fist.

Yes, dumbasses. That is why we live in America. Everyone has the right to a trial regardless. Even OJ. Even Casey Anthony. Even Charles Manson. Even Jeffrey Dahmer etc. etc. etc...

And the response to a thread like this?

You SCUM! You're defending a child molester Scalabrine. You are the lowest life form on this earth. Kill yourself!!!

I'm defending nothing of the sort.

I'll tell you what I will defend. I will defend a man's right to a trial where he is alive and can speak and have a right to legal counsel and if true, see a jail cell or worse, but not have another man instantaneously snuff his life out in a primal rage with his fists.

Was a beating justified? Yes. A death by beating. No. Period.

When you look at 'what is wrong with this country' and how it is 'going to hell,' look in the mirror...

Your posts speak for themselves...

And wear traditional Saudi Arabian dress as you gather in your town's square for a public lynching or beheading. It will suit you well.

The "justice" system in the USA has turned into a pathetic joke. Would you want a jury made of of people dumb enough to let themselves be selected to serve on a jury? I wouldn't.

If you can afford a good attorney, or if you are a celebrity, or if you can get a jury to side with the defendant's political beliefs, or RACE, regardless of what the defendant did or did not do, there is a very good chance that "justice" won't be served, and that the victim and their family will not get even minor satisfaction of seeing that these filth-bags spend at least some time in prison and or are executed after spending 20yrs in solitary banging their heads aganist their padded jail cells.

The truth is that really,  more often than not, there is NO "justice"and people know this now, so they are taking "justice" into their own hands, regardless of the consequences. That's THEIR choice, and will have to answer to the pathetic and corrupt STATE, but much, much, much more importantly, their GOD.

That being said, if the PIMP was white, instead of being a black crip, i'm sure you would have been JUST FINE, with what happened. There's no question about that, scalabrine.

The death penalty is pretty final.. what if you're wrong?
No system is perfect.
I guess the countries who have the death penalty people are more inclined to kill each other in general...
My undocumented guess would be that the U.S. has more murders per capita than the civilized world (where we don't have the death penalty).

Beside it's not really a penalty, is it? Death isn't a penalty, it's a relief for these animals.
Rotting up in prison must be worse.

Oh and in this case all my sympathy for the father.

Seems like the only one who cares for the child molester is..well, the man who killed him.
Saving his kid and other victims in the future and showing empathy for the animal - makes him a hero to me.

Yes, he was, and that is the way it should be. Punish the criminals for their crimes instead of playing friggin paddy cake with them and allowing them to sponge off of the taxpayers in prison, where they'll never get rehabilitated anyways.

Some criminals deserve a fair trial and Some criminals deserve to be put out of their misery.

Scalabrine wants to see every wacko go free and get a fair chance, but if he ever got the chance to procreate and he got the opportunity to watch his offspring sexually assaulted, his screwball viewpoints would most definitely change.

Ya gotta put guys like this on display to highlight their mental incompetence for all to see.

I feel their is a reading comprehension crises among users of this site and Americans in general, and we have yet another sad example of this from this poster.

I specifically said "And who's story prevails? The same as always. The only man left alive to tell it."

Do you know what that means?

That means that when this man gives his account to the cops, no one can say otherwise at that time. The daughter certainly won't say anything different and the only other person who could refute the father's story has been beaten to death.

The attempted rape is a heinous act and the man deserves to be castrated in my opinion if he lived.

But he doesn't deserve a death sentence when only one man is the judge to issue it; one man who is also in a blind rage.

My point in posting was not to defend the offender, but to lambaste the posters who would take glee in seeing this man pumped full of lead by a firing squad, WITHOUT a trial, which they would, by default support since they are hooting and hollering now at the death without trial itself.

Sickos don't deserve a right to a fair trial. How many times have sick people like Casey Anthony gotten away with murder?

Ever heard the expression "Nip it in the bud" ?

Well this guy's bud got nipped.

I'll tell you who determines that, the first person to arrive on scene when the sickos are in action.

Liberal pussies need to worry more about what the value of a sick people life is really worth before they worry about wasting money trying top protect him.

Oh yeah, in this country...

Liberal pussies?

Are you a grown man?

This is not about being a 'box.' This is about one man extracting revenge on another which results in death.

Our justice system protects those people and assures their rights; even the worst of offenders.

And yes it costs money. And no, the justice system does not cripple state and federal budgets so the process can and does continue. Nor is it a 'drain' on them.

If you don't like it, too bad. This is the country you live in.

Texas is another story. A state that has made it clear it would succeed under the Obama administration doesn't surprise me with any decision it makes.

God Damn right I am a grown man and I don't believe in nor do I defend people committing atrocious crimes and some fat cat lawyer comes along and finds technicalities that sets an obvious murderer free.

And as far as the "Backwards Parts of the Middle East" , if a guys lives in this country and wants to treat it like it is a 3rd world country by committed unspeakable crimes, rape, and molestation, then he should be dealt with in the same manner that they acted in.

This goes the same for some gangbanger that mows down 30 innocent people in a Drive By. That friggin guy doesn't deserve a trial. He should just be sentenced to death.

One if the biggest problems with this country is that it is far too lenient on the criminals in this country. You want to lower the crime rate? Start making real examples out of the criminals to send a message to the would be ones.

You having thoughts about molesting a child? Then be prepared to be beaten to death if you get caught.

You couldn't be more wrong. Many laws exist that protect victims rights, making your hyperbole conjecture.

Regardless of your opinion, this father was the victim of a heinous crime. As a society we hold the father to account in the care of his daughter. Jesus the rapist violated societal norms, and wronged the father beyond reason.

The father was the victim of a disturbing criminal act, that he caught happening, he was in no position to be of sound mind. For the father to have committed a crime, mens rea would need to be present, and that is clearly impossible to determine in this case, as intent is absent. He acted as any reasonable person would, and he should not be punished for doing so.
