#26 Posted: 3/24/2012 5:10:20 PM im amazed that we can bet on WWE. I'm not a hater... the british bulldog in the 80's brought Matilda to the ring when i was a kid...ever since then I've always wanted one Hence my love for my bulldog. <------------
Undertakers streak cannot stop. He will retire undefeated and that streak will be his claim to fame.
CM Punk is huge right now so i can't see him losing.
i agree with the brutus guy.. hes so annoying i turn the channel for 10 min. |

The Rock (initial ruling) +115 John Cena (initial ruling) -155
The Rock (end of broadcast ruling) +180 John Cena (end of broadcast ruling) -260
Everything is "end of broadcast ruling" from now on.
Triple H +400 Undertaker -600
CM Punk -130 Chris Jericho -110
Daniel Bryan +145 Sheamus -185
Cody Rhodes -120 Big Show -120
So here are my takes on this...
Rock v Cena The first thought is that Cena is going to win just like when The Rock beat Hogan in a "passing of the torch" type of situation. But now there are talks about this being a 3-part series with the final match at next year's Wrestlemania (The Rock is confirmed to be a part of that). And then it seems like a sure thing that The Miz will get involved in this match in some capacity, which would lead to them saying it wasn't fair and make them have a second match which would be won by the loser of this match and then, next year, have Cena win. So I could really see Cena win this because of the interference by The Miz so it seems like The Rock didn't lose anything and got screwed, keeping his cred. But that's my view on in.
Triple H v Undertaker Taker is going 20-0 at Wrestlemania...there's no doubt who will win this one.
CM Punk v Chris Jericho Jericho will be going on tour with Fozzy this Summer so he won't be a good champ to have around. And it doesn't make sense for him to win to be honest. CM Punk is the "big guy" right now also so I can't see them friggin with that.
Daniel Bryan v Sheamus Well...if CM Punk wins the title...Daniel Bryan, the heel, should still be the champ, right? Something tells me that Sheamus should be the champ, though, so this one is tough for me to call. Shouldn't this Daniel Bryan experiment over with already? I hear they plan on doing a storyline between him, AJ and the Bellas. Can he do that as the champ? Is it easier to do it as the champ as opposed to looking to become the champ? Or does he just fall out of the title picture? Tough one.
Cody Rhodes v Big Show The Big Show as an intercontinental champ just doesn't make sense. But I can't read into this one.
I can't wait to get this discussion started. Hope to see Kapono and Shango around as well as others who were involved in this last year (in a positive way).
Keep it cool, fellas.
Christmas comes early again this year. I'll post my plays a couple days before the event. What's up Kap? Can you believe they are doing it again? ROFL! |

Worst blunder in wrestling since Doink The Clown. Let bad guys stay bad...............
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE0CAFySImQ Doink was a good character. I thought he was kinda boring until he debut under his new character. I will take the Funkasaurus over the Miz any day.

#31 Posted: 3/25/2012 10:16:56 AM Undertaker is -600 for the initial ruling but now -900 for the end of broadcast ruling. Which makes me thing HBK may do something. |

#32 Posted: 3/25/2012 11:33:05 AM Damn, Randy Orton is my favorite wrestler and is the best wrestler in the world but -550 is way too high.
I'm thinking maybe an Undertaker & Orton parlay?
I hope laurinaitis loses. I hate his raspy dumbass.

I think you have to parlay the Undertaker with every singles bet you make, to be honest.
As for Laurinaitis. I can't see him losing. He's great at being a guy that everyone boos. It's hard to find guys that both the old era and new era fans hate. Vickie Guerrero is one of them. You can't find one thing about her that anyone can like. So Laurinaitis is a guy who, if he's written off storylines, it will be because Vince or someone fires him. |

#35 Posted: 3/25/2012 12:42:24 PM I agree that Laurinitas is the clear favorite and should be around -200, especially considering how Nash basically let it slip that the storyline for him was to lead a group of guys in trying to take over the WWE. I think they still go that direction and his character has so much heat on him -- many more options in terms of storylines if he wins versus if Teddy wins.

#36 Posted: 3/25/2012 12:58:46 PM Yeah, I don’t see Laurinaitis losing either.
Every time Laurinaitis, the Miz, and Vicki come out I press mute or change the channel.
Kapono, I knew as I was typing that it would piss you off.
I really wish the Shane O Mac were Raw GM and keep the playa Smackdown GM.

Hell yeah he was one of the greatest of all time. That was when wrestling was at a whole other level. The matches between DDP and Curt Hennig aka Mr. Perfect were classics.
Kimberly was the hottest Nitro girl. Every time her and the Nitro girls came out it was make room and adjust your pants.

#44 Posted: 3/26/2012 10:55:11 AM Updated odds as of Monday morning, March 26, 8am PST:
Initial:
Rock +125
Cena -165
End:
Rock +220
Cena -300
Initial:
HHH +400
Taker -600
End:
HHH +500
Taker -900
CM Punk +100
Jericho -140
Daniel Bryan +180
Sheamus -260
Cody Rhodes -125
Big Show -115
Randy Orton -530
Kane +350
Initial:
Team Teddy +105
Team Johnny -145
End:
Team Teddy: +165
Team Johnny: -220
Maria/Kelly -215
Beth/Eve +165
Why is Punk +100 now? Huge huge huge value on him at a coin flip if you ask me. Might be potential value on HHH initial winner at +400 with a continuation of some sort to where Taker ends up winning at the end?

#45 Posted: 3/26/2012 12:18:50 PM I guess because cm punk has been champion for over four months now. I just can't see cm punk and sheamus both being champions at the same time.

#46 Posted: 3/26/2012 12:25:37 PM Some plays I like right now. I think it won't make sense to keep the feud going without the Rock picking up a cheap win. I think the initial pin will be for the Rock. Don't know what happens after that. Jericho winning doesn't really make sense unless Punk gets screwed somehow, but I think they want this purely to be a wrestling match and the feud will probably end here with Punk winning. Show will win, probably with some outside interference, which will put Rhodes in the WHC picture.
Initial:
Rock +125
Cena -165
CM Punk +100 Jericho -140
Cody Rhodes -125
Big Show -115

How can you not see that? When Punk's run started, he said he was going to keep the title for a long time. How would it make sense to take the belt off the face of the company right now on the biggest stage? Jericho doesn't need this win nearly as much as Punk does. How does Sheamus winning have anything to do with Punk?

#48 Posted: 3/26/2012 12:41:50 PM Call me crazy, but I can see Bryan winning and them continuing their feud after Mania. Bryan has been so strong in his role as the underdog sneaky champ who wins by the skin of his teeth. Yes Sheamus gets the monster Rumble push, but their feud has really lacked any depth. Mania should be about ending feuds that have been built for a long time, but that is dead now. It seems to start a lot of feuds that get continued to further PPVs at this point in the WWE's tenure. I like Bryan as a dog, which sets up Sheamus revenge and MORE bragging by Bryan. With rumors of AJ getting involved in the Women's title picture after WM, doesn't that only make sense if Bryan is the champion too?
Am I totally off here?
Then again, they could do a Sheamus DQ win with no title change or something.

#49 Posted: 3/26/2012 3:17:03 PM I see a fan favorite in Sheamus possibly winning and being the face of Smackdown. I see possibly Jericho becoming champion and being the bad guy on Raw. I can't see two fan favorites champion at the same time.
If Jericho wins then it becomes a five way with Punk, Y2J, Miz, Rock, and Cena. If the Y2J match ends in controversy and the main event also ends in controversy somehow. Then the storyline is filled with drama. Extreme Rules is the next PPV and having drama between those characters seems possible.
I see CM Punk taking his title back at Extreme Rules against Y2J and a possible three way Extreme Rules match between Miz, Rock, and Cena. I have no idea where the Sheamus storyline might turn into right now.

Great point on the DQ. That's certainly a possibility if this match were to open WM. We remember what happened with ADR last year after winning the Rumble.
Did you read the thing about them possibly doing a storyline between Bryan and whichever Bella twin he's dating in real life? Who knows how that may be mixed in. Maybe one of them cost him his title or something and another storyline develops. |
