#15 Posted: 2/25/2012 6:49:25 PM I think In & Out is by far the most overrated burger joint I have ever been to. As far as chains go, I think 5 Guys and Smashburger are pretty good.
If anyone is ever in the DFW area, you'll have plenty of chances to eat the best burger you'll ever have. Nicky D's in Crowley, a tiny town south of Fort Worth, easily has the best burger I've ever had. Second best goes to Maple and Motor in Dallas. And there are so many more that people talk about that I haven't even touched yet.

#22 Posted: 2/25/2012 10:05:35 PM in and out is cheaper than 5 guys... 5 guys is overpriced in my opinion. both are good but make sure u eat ur burger on the spot or it will get soggy. it takes so long to eat ur 5 guy burger that the last bite will be a lil soggy. ;)
i like fuddruckers too. google: buttfuckers and click the wikilink
even that guy that travels (travel channel anthony bourdain) likes inn n out > 5 guys
anyone like fatburger? they have one in vegas that gets packed. theres also an inn n out there but not on the strip ithink. |

#25 Posted: 2/25/2012 10:32:10 PM In N Out has good burgers for the price but the fries friggin suck. Not sure if were including fries in the deal or if it's just purely the burger.
I was surprised by a burger I had at Dave & Busters a few weeks ago actually. Not saying it's the best but it definitely exceeded my expectations for D & B's.
My personal favorite is a buffalo burger from a local place called Moose Preserve in Metro Detroit. I'm sure no one has been there but it's pretty legit when fully loaded.
Local Joints>National Chain Joints.......imo. |
