Why aren't people blaming Obama for rising oil prices like they did Bush?

because todd he's the saviorHe was going to fix all the problemsThey said on tv "If Jesus were on the earth he'd vote for Obama" He has done a worse job than Bush. The only thing he accomplished was killing bin laden. And you're never allowed to criticize the president. If you do Todd you're a racist. That's what they say on TV. Obama

It's because he doesn't have any connections to the oil industry like Bush did.  Bush tried to start his own oil company in the late 70's with money from the Saudis.  He also served on the board of Unocal before he was president.  He has connections to many oil tycoons in Texas.

Obama's boss, George Soros is heavily involved in the petroleum industry.

Of course, he has a lot to do with the price of oil. His deficit spending has crippled the purchasing power of the USD, which directly impacts what we pay for gas and he has taken oil fields out of production and caused US refineries to close with excessive regulation. His dithering with Iran directly correlates to this latest run up in prices.

Bottom line: There are no more than a handful of people in the entire world with a more direct ability to influence/control pricing.

His agenda is suited by raping the American public at the pump.
Remember he ran on change and redistribution of wealth, much of which is FROM America to poorer nations and FROM the middle class.

On the flip side, Chocolate Jesus is sacrosanct and any criticism regardless of basis is countered by screaming from the race hustlers.

It is genius.

Putting his country in a position to be raped when it is unnecessary is his fault.

If you got your behind kicked on the way home from school everyday (likely) and kept walking home the same way and never did anything to change the situation, it becomes your fault at some point.

If you took a self defense class, made some new friends, found a new route etc, you wouldn't be at the mercy of the bullies. obama is unwilling to change his routine, but instead of him getting his behind kicked, it's the American public (in a wholly avoidable situation).

You had 8 years to whine over Bush. It's pathetic that after 3+ years in office, obama still has his panties in a knot over GWB.

But to answer your question, Bush increased the deficit by 4T over 8 years (with significant help from a D Congress), o'Dumbo has increased the deficit by 5 over 3.

I guess it's George's fault that o'Fumble has the lowest IQ 116 of any USP ever?

Why is this only Obama's fault if oil prices have been steadily increasing since the U.S. invaded Iraq?

I suppose that was Obama's fault too?

When he came into office, gas was well under $2 gallon in Los Angeles, and lower elsewhere. We were in Iraq already at that point. (Look up the gas price before you dispute that)

The amount of money spent on the wars is minimal compared to the entitlements, waste, bailouts, corruption, and general stupidity under obama. No president has ever come even close to his level of largesse. (Most of the money spent on the war is in the form of salary which would have been incurred anyway.)

bush sr 99, dub bush 91 see below

"The intelligence of our presidents has never been seriously scrutinized at any time in our history until now. There is a widespread perception that President G. W. Bush is not qualified for the position he holds. That increasing awareness by the people has led to a study of the intellectual ability of all presidents for the past fifty years. There have been twelve presidents in that time, from F. D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush. All were rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they alone wrote, their ability to speak effectively, and a number of psychological factors. The conclusions of the study, conducted by an independent think tank located in Scranton, Pennsylvania were surprising. This think tank includes high caliber historians, psychiatrists, sociologists, scientists in human behavior, and psychologists. Among their ranks are Dr. Werner Levenstein, world-renowned sociologist, and Professor Patricia A. Williams, a world-respected psychiatrist. All members of the think tank are experts at being able to detect a person's IQ from the criteria stated earlier. After four months of research, these learned men and women have determined the IQs of each president within a range of five percentage points. The IQs listed below are the norms for each president.

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) 132 Harry Truman (D) 122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) 174 John F. Kennedy (D) 126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D) 155 Richard M. Nixon (R) 121 Gerald Ford (R) 175 James E. Carter (D) 105 Ronald Reagan (R) 099 George HW Bush (R) 182 William J. Clinton (D) 091 George W. Bush (R)

The non-partisan researchers who evaluated the twelve presidents determined that the six Republican presidents for the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155. President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. The margin of error is plus or minus five percent. This study was initiated on February 13, 2001 and completed on June 17, 2001. This study validated the widespread feeling of people about the sitting president. President Bush was rated low because of his inability to command the English language, his lack of any scholarly achievements, and an absence of anything authored by him that would reflect an intellectual effort." -- "Jennifer Borenstein, Baskerville News Service, 6/28/01"

the cost of the war in Iraq ... over $845 billion to the U.S., with the total cost to the U.S. economy estimated at $3 trillion.
